The repair shop at Groove Toyota is full of incompetent conmen who returned a car to me with failing brakes. Specifically, *************************, *********************** and ********************* are untrustworthy, incompetent liars. The wiring harness on my car was eaten by squirrels, resulting in $11,000 dollars in damage. When Groove Toyota called me less than two weeks later to tell me my car was fixed and ready to pick up, I was ecstatic! I hadnt expected it to be repaired that quickly. But when I arrived, I noticed the brake light was on and immediately reported that my brakes felt strange they were requiring way more force to actually get the car to stop. The techs at Groove Toyota told me the light was just an issue with the sensor light, and that there was no safety risk. They also told me the brakes might feel different now, but that Id have to get used to it. The repair summary I was handed by the auto repair techs even said they recommend replacing the brake booster and that I might experience skid control issues. But they still released my car to me. While I felt concerned dismissed, I thought theyre the experts and they told me my car is safe. Why should I question that? Until it got worse. Twenty-four hours later, I was pulling out from a parking lot when a car pulled in front of me and despite stomping on the brake with full force, I wasnt able to stop, resulting in a collision. Thats when the patronizing came in. Despite the documentation, Groove Toyota did not accept any fault. They said that while the brake light was on, the accident was likely the result of my floormat slipping forward and me not noticing while I was driving, resulting in braking issues. Shortly after, Autonation confirmed that there had been brake booster failure. On top of that, they confirmed that the code for brake booster failure was present an hour before Groove Toyota released my car to me.Review from Landon L

Salesman was fine, but we are having issues with the financial and title departments. They never replied to any of the emails sent from our credit union until today. I was told the one person that is a notary in the title office had been out. Was shown her employee email to the company as "proof," dated a day after we signed the papers, and her asking off May 17th through a later date. Asked why it said this week, and was told, "It's a typo man."Was previously lied to (did receive an apology from **** in financial for that) about getting an update from the title office on Saturday. He assumed someone would come in on their day off for catch-up work. They did not.At one point, I was even asked, "Do you know how many cars we sell?"Was also told that they don't use mobile notary services.Basically, it's a situation that should have taken a few hours to solve (if everything they said are the facts), not days. The main excuse is that it's an out of state sale. Our other car was purchased in ** as well. It took that dealership a day to process the paperwork. It is technically a cash deal to them because they get a check outright from our credit union, and no one seemed to really care. There are too many other cars to sell, apparently. Makes no sense.Review from India M

I spoke to **** and put a holding fee down on a vehicle to hold the vehicle. When I first spoke to **** he was friendly and assured me that if for any reason I didn't want the car, the money could be transferred to another car. He made it seem like no issue. When the car finally arrived circumstances had changed. **** was very rude and I feel like he was being sexist, he spoke down to me and claimed that I was stringing him along with outdated comments. He then threatened and demeaned my business by telling me that there were others that wanted this car and could get it same day, when all I wanted to do was speak about financing. He threatened to sell the car and let it go even though I still wanted to speak to him and my husband on the same day and told him that I wanted the car. It is pathetic and insulting that I needed my husband to speak on my behalf in order to be heard. It is insulting that we were told that it not a buyers market and they basically don't care about our business or what we want/need. I feel like ****'s behaviors perpetuate the stereotype of car dealerships being unwelcoming to females. I have never been talked down to in such manner when doing business with Toyota. The manager **** basically apologized and made excuses and told us he wanted to make the situation right, but offered no solutions and even went back and said that he couldn't do anything. We are only grateful they didn't go back on their word to refund our money when they claimed they couldn't honor incentives and the Military Incentive is only for ***************** which is a Toyota issue and not a specific dealership issue. The overall experience was not pleasant.Review from ISAAC H.

I purchased a used Toyota here in December of 2021. I feel as if I made a mistake by letting them know I was desperate for the vehicle, as I was in between homes, and my current vehicle was In desperate need of maintenance. I wanted something with relatively low miles but I had no down-payment, a 500$ trade in, and a credit score of about 675. I spent all day here just to be shown my two only viable options, and ended up walking out with a ***** purchase on a car with 95k miles. I also went for the extended warranty, but decided I didn't want it the following week. We had an agreement that i was going to walk in to the dealership, surrender my title, and that we would cancel the extended warranty. It has now been 4 months, and I have just realized that the extended warranty was never taken off, and now I have signed all the paperwork. It is seemingly too late now, and come to find out.. the dealership never submitted their letter to the **** so now I cannot even get my plates and proper registration. I am now concerned that this is now a matter of ethics, and feel like I may have been taken advantage of, and our agreement in place has not been respected on their behalf. I am not happy with the salesman, or the sales manager, *****, and can not help but to feel as if I have been put second in place, behind somebody elses yearn for commission off of their sale.
