I was offered 6.49% interest at 63 months by ********** from iLending on 4/8. ********** asks for make, model, trim, they do a credit pull, etc etc. ILending comes back and says that they are unable to match their offer 2 hours later and want me to go into a 75 month loan at 6.99% interest, but that I shouldn't worry because they know I'll pay it off faster? I have 803 credit. So it wasn't credit. They just lied on their offer and my credit takes the hard pull as a result.

      Hello *******!

I am attempting to reach out to you about this matter. I believe that I can help reach the resolution that you asked for, but I just need to be able to make contact with you directly to do so. It seems there was oversight in our approval process that caused the deal you had the preapproval for to be missed by the agent handling your loan, and I am hoping to resolve this.

Please reach out to our customer service department at ************ or email me directly at **************************************.

      Thank you!

I got a letter in the mail from iLending saying I was pre approved to refinance my car loan. I scanned the ** code and entered my information and received a phone call 2 minutes later. A gentleman got my social security number, every detail of my car, my address, phone ************** & then hung up on me. He called back 1 minute later and continued asking me for the last 2 places I lived. I gave him the address to my last ************** hung up again. He called back 1 minute later and asked for my 3rd previous residency and (asked how much I paid in rent as well) then without warning the phone went to a hold signal with music playing.. that continued for 3 minutes before the phone hung up again. 1 minute later this man calls back as if nothing happened and continued questioning me on where I work and how much I make .. I told him this was extremely unprofessional and sketchy and that I would not be giving him any further **************** said okay. Understand. Have a nice day and hung up . I gave every single detail of my life to this man & believe this is a COMPLETE SCAM & UNTRUSTWORTHY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I demand answers as to where my private & personal information went & demand to know what is being done with it. This is insane. No way this is a legit company.

      Hello!

My name is *******************, and I am iLending's ****** Services Manager. I apologize that you had an unfortunate experience with our agent, and wanted to be able to shed some light to your specific circumstance. The agent that you were speaking with on this matter was one of our new agents in training. During the time of your phone call(s), our new phone system was having difficulties with new added agents and we were experiencing calls being dropped. I reviewed the calls and can confirm that the agent did not intentionally hang up multiple times, but I completely understand how frustrating this experience was for you, especially when the matters being discussed were personal information. We will be providing coaching to this agent, for even the simple explanation from him about why the calls were dropping could have eased some of these concerns.

As per your personal information, our agent was collecting this to see if we could match you with a perspective lender for a refinance. Since you notified us that you no longer wanted to move forward with the refinance, we will not be submitting or doing anything with your personal information. If you would like me to, I can also submit a Do Not Contact request to prevent you from getting any further contact or marketing information from us. Once again, I wanted to apologize for the circumstances of those calls you received.

***** contacted me at 7am on a Saturday-unsolicited and unwanted - I told her to stop texting me. She continued to harass me and I finally had to block her. The entire "ilending" company is full of aggressive phone marketers who don't take no for an answer and are shady as he'll. Will never use their services and would recommend they be shut down for false business practices.

I signed up with ********************* of 2022 to refinance my vehicle. We agreed on $413.14/month as my payment. Its been quite some time now that Ive been paying on this loan but for some reason, the total loan amount never seems to drop. Well I decided to start taking screenshots of each months payment and noticed that only $217 of my total $414 payment is going towards my loan and the other $197 is vanishing into thin air. November 2023 my total was $23,455.57 and I made the $413.14 payment. I go check this months total which is $23,238.52. I ran the numbers real quick and noticed that Ive paid a total of $7,023.38 but only $4,449 has actually gone towards my loan. That means that $2,574 is just gone and I cannot for the life of me figure out where the money is going. I am deeply disturbed to think that a credit union I trusted to take care of me is doing something theyre not supposed to be doing and I would like an explanation of where 1/4 of my hard earned money went since its not at all being applied to my loan. Beware and read reviews before you make my mistake. I fear my three year loan will now be a nine year loan at this rate.

      Hello,

I apologize that you are having a difficult time getting information on this. However, we are iLending and unfortunately do not have access to ****** FCU's payment history or schedules. If you can please reach out to ****** directly at ************, they will be able to break down where your monthly payments are going and how each is applied to your balance. I also know that if you request a copy of your statements directly, they will give you much more thorough information on your balance that is not provided by the mobile app.

Since we are only an auto refinance broker, unfortunately we cannot see the nessicary information held by your lending institution to answer this question due to privacy protections on your behalf.

      Thank you.

Hello, this is *****, iLending's ****** Services Manager. I wanted to provide more information on this:

To remove anyone from a vehicle's title, we need their express consent. To be able to process this for you, we are required by the ***************** to get ***** of ********** which will be notarized to ensure that it is you giving consent. Additionally, we need to send the *** a copy of your driver's license, so they can ensure completely that you have given your consent to remove yourself from ownership of this vehicle. Outside of this, we do not collect any other personal information about anyone that we are removing from a title, nor do we end up using this information that is collected in any other way.

If you have any other questions or concerns about this process, please contact your local *** at **************.

      Hey ********!

I wanted to reach out and provide clarity on this interaction. So on October 30th, 2023 at 11:27 AM MDT, we spoke on the phone with you and authorized a "Soft Pull" on your credit. When we do this, we are pulling information to get a general look at your credit report without actually inquiring for a loan. This allows us to be able to match you up with the credit profiles of our lenders, and see if any loans offered would be able to help out your individual financial situation. As you know, we were not able to find anything that would be able to achieve the goals that you were looking for. Due to this, we never sent your profile over to any lender directly that would cause a hard pull, that you would see directly on your credit report.

For the soft pull that we did on your credit, you can view these by contacting the individual credit bureaus themselves, and requesting a copy of your profile. You are allowed to request one of these each year from each individual credit bureau. I have provided links to each of their websites providing details on the difference between soft and hard inquiries.

I have an 800 credit score and I was trying to get my wife's car refinanced into a better loan. I was promised a great loan, free of extra fees for warranties and gap, and I got approved for a loan just under $400. When I got my bill, warranties and gap were added, wife taken off the loan even though assured she was on it, and payment is close to $500. *********************** is a liar and scammer and handles everything by text. I want to redo this loan and get the loan promised.

Hello, my name is *******************, iLending's **************** Manager. I am launching an investigation into your case. Please allow a few days as I research all information on your file. I will reach out as soon as I am able to review these materials.

      Thank you!

      Hello,

I have completed my investigation on this claim. There seems to be 3 complaints, so I will address each individually.

The customer claims that his wife was taken off of this loan. This is incorrect information. If you reference page 4 of the loan documents I have attached onto this result, you can see from the loan application page that both ****** and Teffini are on this loan. While ****** is the primary borrower and his name will appear more often, she is set as a co-borrower on this loan structure.

The customer also claims that we added a GAP Warranty and *************** Contract without their permission. On a phone call on June 28th, 2023 at 8:58 AM MDT, *********************** (our loan consultant on this file) called Teffini to disclose the information on this loan. He specifically stated at the : "Already built into that price you have your GAP coverage and you get powertrain coverage as well." The customer asks how she qualifies for the Powertrain Warranty with her mileage, which **** discloses the new mileage limits. To this, the customer responds "nice, nice" and is enthusiastic. She never states to remove these coverages or expresses any discontent on having these products. On a phone call with ****** directly on June 28th 2023 at 11:10 AM MDT, ****** asks, "What is this premium cost for the term of the contract date for $3,290, $895?" **** asks him to repeat himself, and ****** explains he is looking at the Product Acknowledgement page (found on page 9 of loan documents attached). To this **** explains, "Yeah, so that is her warranties that she got." ****** responds, "ok." **** further explains the products, and ****** never asks for the removal of these products or every states that they do not want these. The only response he provides is further Oks. The contract with these products becomes fully signed by both parties at 6/28/2023, 11:28 AM.

As per the payment amount, on the documents disclosed to the customer on these phone calls, you can clearly see next to the **** box as well as the 1st page that the payment amount of $458.71 was disclosed. It was never stated that the payment would be in the 300s. The customer signed both the initial page acknowledging this as well as page 6 showing the **** information.

I cannot post a response to the customer direct at this time in the workflows, but I believe this resolves this matter with explanation.

I wanted to refinance my auto loan and saw that iLending looked promising. I decided to fill out an application with them and was soon contacted by the company. After giving my information, the loan consultant proceeded to find me better loans. She called back and gave me the information on the new loan. After talking, I thought I would receive the documents to sign via Docusign (as it says on their website) but received nothing from her. I didnt even get the Truth in Lending Disclosure as is required by law. I decided that it isnt time for me to refinance and so tried to call multiple times to tell her I dont want to move forward. Im worried that they moved forward without my act of signing or emailing me documents to review. I need someone to send me the documents so I know this isnt fraud and I need to get a hold of them to say I do not want to move forward anymore. But I really need assurance that they did not sign on my behalf.

Thank you for reaching out about this matter. I have looked into this for you, and it seems we were able to make good contact with you today on March 22, at or about 12:38 PM. While we had started looking into your refinance, no loan documents were created for you nor have we started any processes of sending this to one of our lenders. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with, and if you have any questions whatsoever please reach out to our **************** Manager, ******************* at **********************.
