We agreed to a quote provided by John B*****, a representative of Accurate Window, on 12/9/2019. The agreement was to replace doors and windows in the house entirely in conformance with the manufacturer's specifications. After over 1.5 years, we still have a window that is cracked, no screens in two windows, screws missing, damaged existing siding and no drip caps on our windows or doors. At this time, we cannot reach anyone at the company and they do not return our calls. One of their representatives came to our house to inspect. Later, different company representatives said this person was just "padding his retirement" with our project. The company claims that installation per manufacturer's instructions (with a drip cap) wasn't a part of the initial contract. Among the other issues, I believe it is inappropriate for a business to make the assumption that their customer is an expert in the installation of windows. After over a year of communicating with this company, we have no confidence that they have the expertise to repair our windows and doors and so we are seeking a refund of labor costs.Initial Complaint

In January, 2021, we received a delivery from Accurate Window and Door Center - minus the moulding. The moulding was NOT included in the delivery, but it WAS included on the invoice. Jake, the sales person, was informed of this. He acknowledged this, but did nothing about it in his billing department. The owner of the company, Jim, acknowledged this, but did nothing about it in his billing department. Jacque, in the billing department, did nothing about it when I called month after month. My last conversation with Jacque on June 11, 2021 resulted in nothing. Jacque said she would talk with Stephanie, who issues credits, but no action has occurred. The harassment has got to stop. Does this happen with all clients? Is this a sneaky way of committing fraud? Rely on clients to just give up and pay for materials never received? Should this complaint also go to the Englewood District Attorney's office? I will also inquire in that arena. Inv#*********** for $147.14Business response

We are very sorry about this experience with Accurate. It is not representative of our way of doing business, or how we maintain customer relationships. Ms. ***** is correct that she was billed in error for product not received and we didn't correctly process her credit, resulting in multiple calls for collection. The situation has been resolved and the proper credit issued, and we have made internal changes to prevent such problems in the future. However, accusations of fraud are wildly inappropriate and we take great exception to such. We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards in all our dealings, but we are not above making mistakes.
