I received two services from Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center ** Denver (Poplar and ***** locations). The first appointment was on 2.16.23 (Poplar location) in which an Actinic Keratosis (**) was treated on my nose. This resulted in a surgery charge of $245.00. On 3.15.23, I had a second appointment (***** location), of which resulted in a second attempt to treat the ** because it had not been completed resolved at the first visit. I was charged a second full surgery fee of $245.00, even though this was a follow-up treatment to original attempt to treat on 2.16.23. I have made several attempts to contact (via phone, email, voice messages) to receive explanation, clarification, and resolution to this double charge. When billing is called, you are placed on hold for 1-1.5hrs before being connected to a someone. I originally spoke with a billing agent on 4.14.23 which resulted in an email being sent to management at the two locations in which I received treatment. I received no follow-up, so had to make several attempts to call (and stay on hold) without any resolve to the issue. I submitted an email to the billing agent directly, without response. I called locations where I was told the Office Manager practiced and left voice messages with her team, on the office manager's direct line, and sent the office manager an email explaining the issue. All without any response, explanation or resolve. My bill is due on 5.7.23, so without any resolution to the issue - I will be forced to pay it or deal with a past-due bill and likely submission to claims - which has a whole other set of problems. In reading reviews, I do not think I am the only one that has experienced something like this. I think it is unethical, and bad business, to engage in complete avoidance of my concern, and subsequently not be held accountable for a double charge for treatment. While $245.00 may not seem like a lot of money, if this done to multiple clients, it adds up.

3 issues:- I was overbilled for my office visit - I was charged for a "surgery" that I never signed for or was asked to sign for. - I was treated unprofessionally and against policy by a doctor & by the staff.Overbilled:I reached out to the billing first about disputing charges on the 7th of February, ******* the woman I spoke with informed me I would need to talk with the office directly, she told me my account would be put on hold in the meantime. The office called me on 2/23. I spoke with ****** the front desk receptionist and explained that according to the *********** Consumer website *********************************** I was billed for the wrong CPT code. I was billed for CPT code ***** New patient office or other outpatient visit, ***** minutes," I should have been charged for New patient office or other outpatient visit, ***** minutes CPT ***** for $114 I barely saw the doctor and there is a huge discrepancy here. Surgery:For the "surgery" I never signed any form consenting to the surgery or for payment. I only visited the office for an annual skin check the doctor I saw, ************** said she noticed a couple areas she could "freeze" off with a cryotherapy tool she said she could just "take care of it them," she never mentioned that there would be a charge for that or had me sign a form. ******* from billing confirmed that there was supposed to be a form provided to me (which I never received) but the provider signed on my behalf. I need those charges completely removed!Unprofessionalism:I have been trying to get a call back to dispute charges for almost a month, I need answers! The fact that they just won't call me back and there's nothing I can do is really frustrating and disheartening. Finally when I saw ************* she walked in on me changing into the robe they provided. Even after I said "no, please don't come in "'m not ready" & she just said "it's fine" & I was fully exposed. It was so uncomfortable and awful.Bill ID: **************
