I went to this dealership to purchase an Acura and the salesman(*******) offered to throw in some Weathertech floormats with the purchase. As I signed all of the paperwork I was promised by the salesman that he would send tracking info in 10 days because his rep wasn't available. Fast forward two months and I still haven't received them. Reached out the both the dealership and the salesman and was told that since I didn't have it in writing as part of the contract, that the dealership can't do anything for me and also that his rep from Weathertech can't get him a deal anymore so I'm out of luck. Its sad that the dealership is allowing all of these empty promises to happen in order to sell a car. This is a very minor promise but still a promise which the dealership should honor because the salesman is a representative of their business.Customer response

Had to wait 2 weeks for my scheduled appointment for service on my vehicle which has the Vehicle Protection Plan offered by Autonation. Vehicle was dropped off on 7/5/2023 and have not heard anything back on my vehicle. I have left several messages that go unanswered. When calling the service line, you eventually get transferred to a corporate service line where they inform you that they (Autonation *************************** cannot even get ahold of their own employees at this location. Strongly recommend avoiding this store for vehicle purchase or vehicle service. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy the Vehicle Protection Plan, it is a scam.Initial Complaint

May 14th 2023 I purchased a ****** Rogue, first day engine light came on have taken the car back 5 times 2 failed emission test, Ingo back and they are trying to get me a car that is not equal to the purchase I have, tried contacting General manager and no one calls back, the worst place I've purchased a car.Initial Complaint

I took my vehicle into this dealership to get the air conditioning fixed and get the manufacturer recommended timing chain service done when I got my vehicle back the radio no longer worked they said the factory Amp shorted out then charged ** for a new one five days later the fuse box shorted out and they charged ** for a new one the three weeks after they did the timing chains the car completely stopped running and we had it towed back over there and they told ** it needs a new engine all together we spent $7700 there and now after destroying my engine they have had my car for over 4 months and the service director won't ************* and he will not call me back I then called and tried to talk to the ** who wasn't there and left a message for the him to call me back which he never did either.Initial Complaint

Initial repair from company 6/1/22 -6/28/22 to replace a serpentine belt and issues related to from , since the car was repaired ,it experienced a continued and rough idle and idling after the car was turned off , then in a regular oil change I was notified that serpentine belt was fraying and the attendant brought me from the vehicle to show me what was observed it was then taken back to the dealer from after waiting an excessive period to have them look over this and the idling problem as well as a Recall issued from GM, the car was in the repair shop from 12/8/22-12/14/22 after trying to get a status from the dealer with multiple calls made with no calls received back I finally went down there and was informed that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and nothing was done whatsoever to the vehicle despite the continued idling issue and the eventual no running of the vehicle. It has now been sitting there at the shop for over three weeks with the only contact with dealer being the Service advisor answering a call on Monday stating that the car was in inspection. and put in inspection the day it was brought over there this is not true as I had to receive possessions from the car a couple days after it was brought there. That call ended with the Service advisor stating he would get with the Tech to find out was the status of the vehicle was. Since then calls Tue, Wed ,Thurs. and today have not been returned and no status on the vehicle given. This is an inadequate response as was the verbatim nothing was wrong with the vehicle in Dec and told to take it to ****** Chevrolet which had nothing to do with the repair. So now being without a vehicle and no status this is now escalated to a pending legal action as well as this complaint . submission. No diagnostics done in the vehicle / no paperwork generated from the December incident to me or the warranty company , despite the continued check engine light and the eventual breakdown of the car.Initial Complaint

Had my vehicle serviced for an oil change as I have been for the last 3-4 years. I had never had an issue with their work! On this occasion after paying $80 for the oil change, I get home and the vehicle is leaking puddles of oil. I call them about this issue and they placed me on hold for over 30 minutes. I decided to just schedule my appt online.On day of the appointment they tell me there's not much they can do since their technicians are ***** certified and not ******* After 4 years of taking my vehicle to be serviced there all of a sudden they tell me this! They said they can take a look at it, kept the vehicle all day! I had to call them to get a status on my vehicle, they said oh we had to order a part because we don't have ****** parts here, we will call you back. I call them again before they close and they just said oh its ready. I was charged another $70! They tell me if it keeps leaking I have to go somewhere else because the technicians are trained on ******* only! SO they mess up my vehicle, charge me twice! and then tell me to go somewhere else! I called them again because the vehicle kept leaking, again same excuse "they are ***** not ******". They say oh we can schedule you over at AutoNation ****** but you have to pay $150 for diagnostics there because they are a different team. I thank the team Autonation ****** because they totally agreed that I should not be paying for the mistakes of the other dealership! Turns out they used the wrong part on my vehicle which was causing the drain plug to not seal correctly and leak .They had to service the vehicle again for another oil change and put the correct part in. I called the Autonation ***** to get a refund for the $150 in total I paid them to do nothing to my vehicle. All I get is "we are busy we will call you back"! They don't want to take responsibility! Their services caused me unnecessary trouble and paid for additional services my car required to fix their mistake!Customer response

Business had agreed to refund me for the two payments I made to them. The service advisor said they would submit the refund on Monday 3/20/22 and to expect it in about 10 business days.
The process was exhausting , Im hoping they do process the refund like they said
