Our Recruitment Admin, *******, reached out to our employee, ********, on 7/18 to notify her that her time card was incorrect for the week ending in 7/16, as she needed to correctly allocate her hours, as she works two separate and unique projects through our client. Although there was initial confusion, she was able to amend her timecards and eventually submitted them correctly.
While she listed hours for 7/12, we did not have her scheduled to work on 7/12. Upon further investigation, we learned that she was scheduled to work by an onsite Manager, however, this was not proper protocol as employees are only able to work if they're on the schedule, which is created by the Scheduling Coordinator. Again, Medix was unaware as ******** was not cleared by the Scheduling Coordinator to work any shifts on 7/12.On 7/18, we informed ******** that due to this being unscheduled and the Scheduling Coordinator being unaware of the situation, we would need to immediately investigate this with our client. On the morning of 7/19, she asked for an update on her time card and at that point we did not have an update from our client, but were working to get this resolved for her as quickly as possible. It was at that time that ******* informed her that he would follow up with the team and would update her throughout the day with any progress/updates. By end of day 7/19, ******* followed-up with ********, and she was paid for the hours in question via her standard pay cycle. ******** was informed via text message that her hours were approved and that she would be paid out for the ****************************************************************************************************************** the system.
At no point was Medix withholding payment, but due to the discrepancy with scheduling (not following proper protocol), we were unable to immediately approve the hours without client review/further investigation. ******** was paid out in full for the 53 total hours that she submitted, on her regularly scheduled pay date. Payment was not delayed. At this time, Medix has paid ******** for any/all funds that she has earned while working on assignment with us, and will continue to pay her out on our regular pay schedule (weekly on Fridays). We kindly ask that this investigation be closed, as there are no funds owed to ******** at this time.
