    This business paved my driveway in the summer of 2022. The contract called for a compacted 3 of asphalt throughout the driveway and some modifications to parts of the drive. During the 2022-23 winter, we found several placed the asphalt came off and the grease visible showing only 1 inch of asphalt. I called the manager **** and he came out in May to review the problem. He agreed that they needed to replace a section of asphalt **** my garage and that he would do so when working in the ********* area. He was in my neighborhood for a week that summer doing two driveways of neighbors. I called him repeatedly during the 2023 summer and he promised he would get to it. Finally, I called Labor Day week and he said they were working in **** and should get to my job upon their return from ****. I called again in September and ** told me he wasnt doing the job because I didnt hire him to topcoat the driveway within a year after installation. He said this was in the small print on the back of the contract. My driveway is not completed according to the contract and it still has the wholes with dirt showing through. This outfit is a fraud and deserves to have their BBB rating lowered accordingly. I am available to discuss this report if you would like.

    The spot was very very small the Driveway was installed at 3 inches.

    the Customers son is in the paving business and watched us install the driveway he can confirm this.the reason for this small spot the size of a quarter to arise is from base being ruffled during install mixing in the small section of asphalt and is very easily repaired 

    the have had several reason to have us return which we alway have in a timely manner for un warranted we resolved free of charge.

    the only reason this was not repaired is because the customer was wanting the ********************** sealed and it would be best for both partys to repair it at the same time as the seal coat process when we returned from **** the temperature had dropped below the recommended temperature to apply seal coat. We have always planned on resolving this and I am not sure why the have reached out to BBB for assistance

    Date of the transaction: May 2, 2023 Amount I paid: $12,000.00 paid in full.Driveway Experts ******************************* ***************************************************************** ************** Driveway Experts, *******************************, committed to provide grading, new asphalt laid and hot seal coating. Per the invoice I received, there is a warranty process, which I followed as cracks and fissures appeared within the first two weeks.The nature of the dispute includes Driveway Experts lack of following their own warranty process outlined in their terms provided to **** not only followed the warranty process, which includes emailing issues with photos to a specific email address. I received no response despite sending multiple times.I directly contacted ******************************* via cell phone text message. ********************** response was aggressive, unprofessional, without means or warrant and although ********************** committed to come on site to complete the repairs, he nor his crew ever returned for repairs.I am happy to provide photographs, text messages and communications to help support this complaint. Thank you

    This job has been difficult from the start. We agreed on a price for certain amount of area to be installed. We was approached during the job with cheaper offers and during the job she advised my workers to install a much larger turn around which she had no plans of paying for.

    upon completion of job we was told her friends said she was being overcharged so she believes she should only pay $8000  $4,000 less then the agreed upon price  and was told I could  make it up on her neighbors 

    she had us fix multiple areas had to give her a unnecessary fog seal for free

    the problem she has is a stretch **** from the roller on the incline of driveway and we had plans on addressing it when we was on schedule in ******  like we explained during our last phone call 

    it is unclear why she is in need of BBB assistance

    We spent $30,825 to asphalt our driveway on Oct 11, 2022. This spring I noticed weeds pushing up the asphalt and growing out. I contacted ******************************* ************ (cell) ************ and sent photos of the problem. He answered my call once and told me to spray it with weed killer, which I did. I have since left voice mails at his office and sent numerous texts without any response.I want the defective area corrected properly. I am contacting you as he is no longer responding to my calls and texts. (I sent texts on June 18, 19, 22, July 10, 15, 24.). I notified him today that I would be contacting the BBB.

    Customer called salesmans cell phone and stated the had some grass coming back on Edge of driveway in the spring 

    we advised her to spray a herbicide to kill all vegetation and later in the year while we are in area we would come check driveway.

    Before paving Driveway we applied a salt barrier and also sprayed a total vegatation killer to this area also told her husband at the time of install if any vegatation should return he should spray immediately with herbicide.

    it clearly states on her contract there is no warranty on vegetation regrowth on the front and on the back of contract  and also instructions on how to approach this.

    there is also instructions on how to request warranty work with email on how to request warranty work to make sure this type of thing  doesnt happen she did not follow any of the instructions on how to request warranty work.

    we Try to avoid things like these even though the are not covered under warranty and we already had a work order in to repair in early September to make sure she had time to sterilize any vegetation to the edge  so when we make repair there isnt any further regrowth.

    If the customer has any further questions I would recommend them to contact the warranty department that is listed in the warranty section of there contract

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  It is unclear to me if they are still going to come out in September (which I was unaware of a work order they mentioned) but I would *************** area fixed/repaired.
