Advertising Fraud DISH and ***** provided ref. No. ******* Dish and ***** made it clear that my monthly paid plan included unlimited texting. I am a teacher. In addition, I instruct a course approved by our state ********* ****** of ******** Apprehension.Because of the above, I have texted over 100 students. Boost staff w/o advising blocked my texts messages claiming the number of texts is in violation of policy. This so-called policy is in direct conflict with customers paid plans relevant to unlimited texts. It appears Boost staff thinks that my texts have criminal intent. I use my personal cell for student contacts. On 12/11/2023, I spoke with a supervisor identifying herself as *****. ***************). I asked how many texts is considered to be in violation warranting texts being blocked. She had no answer. However, ***** advised me that Dish/Boost staff will call me within 24 hours to answer this question. I am asking the BBB to look into false advertising having an adverse impact on customers and to report this false advertising to the ****** of ************ General for false advertising.1. False advertising telling customers to pay for a plan with unlimited testing. Only to block texting after an unknown number (to the customer) is reached, with failure to advise of such blacking.
