      I sold this business a laptop through my eBay store. The business' representative filed a refund request with eBay alleging the item was not as described in the eBay listing. Listing was accurate and stated it was a used item sold as-is with no refunds accepted. eBay approved and issued a refund on my behalf but the business never returned the laptop. It has now been more than three months with no resolution with the business. Thus they have my money and my laptop.

      After reviewing the incident it appears the laptop was not as described in the listing.  This was taken up with ebay and they sided with us in this scenario after reviewing the incident.  The laptop was shipped back via UPS with tracking number ******************************.  The package was rejected.  At this point our procurement director advised us that this was most likely a scam and unfortunately the unit was recycled.  When discussing this with our procurement director we advised communicating further with the seller to ensure a mutually acceptable resolution.  I personally feel that the seller is correct and needs to be compensated for the laptop as there is no evidence that the seller is purely a scammer other than the unacceptable condition of the item sold and their rejection of the package.  We are reaching out to the seller now to offer them payment in full for the item sold.

      BBB, this is a vendor, not a customer, although I do believe their complaint is valid.
