****, I'm truly disappointed in seeing this review - especially since you're only interaction with our company was not in the form of a tenant in one of our managed homes but rather an approved applicant who opted not to sign our lease. As you know, we were able to get the owner of the home to agree to make an exception in allowing you to start the lease nearly a week later than we would normally require. We also provided very prompt response to the questions you had presented to us regarding our policies and procedures in managing our client's investments. Our lease was drafted by an attorney and we do ensure it protects our client's property but it's absolutely not designed to take advantage of our valued tenants. It's disheartening that our first negative review on this platform came from someone that had very little interaction with our company and simply did not agree with our paperwork. We have had 1000's of tenants over the past 38 years, and the vast majority have had great experiences so long as they complied with the terms of the agreement. I am sorry that you could not agree to those terms and we are grateful that you did not proceed with signing the lease paperwork rather than both of us regret the relationship. We wish you only the best moving forward, and would kindly suggest getting a copy of the lease from any prospective landlords/Property Managers prior to applying to rent moving forward.
