Beware of First Impressions. CALL SOMEONE ELSE We have had a terrible and stressful experience with McDonald Paving (and apparent associates.) Still not resolved. ****** McDonald assured us in person that we would have a trouble free driveway for many years! Instead, McDonald Paving has left our road in much worse condition than when we contracted with them and we are out THOUSANDS of dollars. They did not complete the scope of work contracted. We contacted ****** McDonald, with whom we had been dealing, and stated this needed to be addressed per the written warranty. For two months we sent numerous texts to ****** McDonald stating the work needed to be completed and fixed. We heard nothing. 21 months after the initial work was done (incomplete) and numerous contact and conversations (finally) with ****** , a crew (dont believe it was an actual McDonald Paving crew) showed up and put down some sort of material that totally wrecked our driveway. This crew tore up trees around the driveway and left a mess. The material on the entire road needs to be removed and redone. They have not honored the contract or done acceptable work. They have acted in bad faith and are awful to try and deal with. I have read some of the other reviews here. Maybe you would like to be included in our lawsuit.

DO your research on this company, they did the job in the time frame promised, however in the process the broke my water main shut off pipe and cover, hit my building, left old asphalt all through my grass and bushes, left trash in my bushes, and several places the asphalt is very porous. I did have a friend that works in ******* stop by and look and his opinion was the asphalt was segregated and he said it would not last more than a few years. ******* also quoted me one price and in the middle of the job said it was worse than he thought and it was going to cost 7k more then the quote. I emailed ******* to bring all of this to his attention and he called me and yelled and cussed at me over it. He also promised to uprade my warranty and fixed all the issues but has never shown up. I reached out again and again he promised to have is done by close of business the next day and again never showed. Do your research and ask around about McDonald so you do not regret doing business with them like I do.

This company was doing a job on the lot I share with my neighbors. They posted no signs about the job. They just pulled up in the middle of our rush and started blocking off the parking lot and harassing all of the cars that were there already. When asked what they were doing, the manager raced ** in my in his truck like he was going to run me over. He then proceeded to screen and curse at me for touching his cone. He completely flew off the handle and made threatening comments. I cant speak for the quality of their work but the bullying, screaming, threatening and cursing was the most unprofessional conduct I have ever experienced. Buyer beware. These are not professional people.

Weve worked with **** and McDonald paving for several years now. Theyve always been trustworthy and done a great job for us!! We have a 1/4 mile driveway and theyve kept it in great shape for the last 15 years. Theyre an excellent family owned business!!

RETIRED You must watch them at every step of the process to insure that you are getting what you pay for. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. My project was 20k+.

Im a retired school teacher and work part time for a non profit. I had a $9000 drive way put in , in October and it is quickly deteriorating. Ive been trying to communicate with ****** but sometimes his replies are actually mean- he keeps putting me off. The driveway looks awful- just awful. I have an Airbnb and need to earn a living by my home. The driveway is the first thing people see- its a mess. Im so sad- it cost me so much money and Im being put on a back burner. I just want it fixed. I just want clear communication and not someone being mean- and making me feel bad to even ask.
