easily the WORST service department Ive ever seen anywhere. Ive had my 2018 nissan Titan since new in 2017 and have NEVER once had an issue with a simple oil change. this abhorrent dealership initially wouldnt even tell me when i could expect my vehicle to be completed, only until after pressing did I get 3-5 hours. Six hours later my truck was still NOT done.. this for an OIL CHANGE mind you. on top of it all, the service staff was evasive, dismissive, and consistently transfered my call to FULL voicemail boxes. when I finally insisted to be put on hold and not transfered again I was given to the supposed service manager who entirely made excuses for the terrible service instead of just answering WHEN i could pick up my truck. I was offered a courtesy shuttle until i told them i lived in black forest and had to take a lyft home and to come get my truck at close of business when i finally insisted they just give me my truck back and i would take it to woodmen. when i arrived they charged me and told me they changed the oil and filter. After such a preposterously laughable amount of ignorance on what was going on with my truck i took it to woodmen nissan to confirm the oil WAS actually changed.South Colorado Springs Nissan Response

My name is ******, I am the Owner Loyalty Manager here at South Colorado Springs Nissan. I reached out to the customer as soon as the initial review came in. I replied to the customer in the review, called, left a voice mail, and then sent an email to make contact. There was an email response stating I could read the review for any details and asked to be removed from all contacts with my location. I went to the ****************** for details. Customer made an appt online for an oil change, check engine light, and other. Unfortunately, the computer system does not give an amount of time the appt. will take.Customer came in for appt. The oil change was for customers Diesel Titan that cannot be done in the Express Lube Bay and must be done by a Diesel Certified Mechanic, the check engine light that had to be diagnosed, along with the "other" being the Intermittent Wiper System that also required an electrical system diagnosis. It is common practice for any sort of check engine lights, codes, and or electrical issues that need to be diagnosed that includes needing to be checked, traced, researched are always recommended to be dropped off for the day bare minimum - that wasn't and isn't the case for online self-made appointments. The customer was told it would be 3-4 hours just for the check engine light, an additional hour for the diesel oil change and then more time for the "other' again being the Intermittent Wiper System (electrical).Because of the length of time the appointment would take it was recommended for the vehicle to be dropped off instead of the customer having to wait at the dealership for hours on end. *************** was mentioned, but after discovering the location was out of shuttle drivers range per dealerships policies, customer arranged **** services. This appointment needed a considerable amount of work that required time to be performed properly and was not by any means a "simple oil change" appointment.Customer Response

Consistently I was given lies on time. Including the initial 3-5 hours. Much like this response from southern colorado Nissan. More lies.Review from Bart R

My daughter bought her car from South Colorado springs Nissan. She loved it. In July, 2022 she got sick and lost her job and was no longer able to make her payments. She brought her car back to the dealership and asked them to buy it back. The manager ******************* told her no. A salesman ********************* made a deal with her for a South Colorado Springs Nissan employee to take over her payments. She agreed to leave her name on the title and the registration. (a vulnerable and un-wise plan arranged by *********************)***** gave her a ride home in her car. Our daughter introduced ***** as she announced that Nissan was buying her car back. Our daughter is back in the hospital and her car loan bills are stacking up. Her loan is over due. The payments are not being made to the lender. ********************* promised her this would be a good thing but he is not available to mop up the mess.****, the manager says he knows the payments are being made.... What??? Then where is the money and why is the loan passed due???**** says this has nothing to do with the dealership. For failure to pay I want the car returned to my daughter!!I hold the South Colorado Springs Nissan, ****, and ***** responsible to uphold the deal they made with my daughter. Where are the payments going if not to the lender?Review from Sheri W.

Since the lowest rating has a one this is the best I could do for this dealer. They have had our van two different times for Service for same issue and the last time we told them we needed it back to go on a trip from Colorado to Kansas and they told us that it would be fine traveling that far without the valve replacement that they told us it needed. They did not advise us not to drive the vehicle. We ended up getting stranded in Kansas and Now were looking at thousands and thousands of dollars in repairs and we had to rent a vehicle to get home. The dealer that currently has the van and Kansas called this dealer for more details and they were told that we were advised not to drive the van which is a blatant lie. The dealer with the van now is going to have trouble getting it covered under warranty because of this dealers lies.Review from Jacob R

SHADY SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND POOR MANAGEMENT HERE! Caution when taking your Nissan in for service here. I literally took my Nissan Maxima in for a coolant flush and had it previously inspected for my job 4 days prior at another dealer in Pueblo, ** (******************* Nissan). The ****** dealer found no issues with the power steering pump or lower control arm and said I just needed the coolant replaced along with some other minor maintenance. My power steering was FINE when dropping it off and my car was operating normally. After South Colorado Springs Nissan inspected my vehicle they quoted me for over $4,000.00 in repairs that miraculously were now a problem (4 days after the other dealer did their inspection). I had repair insurance through ************** and they were VERY suspicious of this dealership and all their new problems they claimed were now wrong with my vehicle. They mandated that an inspector of their own come out and verify the issues before agreeing to authorize payment. So $1,300 dollars later ( I agreed to replacing the lower control arm and coolant flush) I get my car back and start driving it to now experience it to be a hazard to operate! I had to park it at the Colorado Springs Airport because the steering was so messed up and I could hardly turn the wheel. Hmm....the steering was fine when I dropped it off and now it's not...? They wanted $1,000.00 to fix the steering pump and claimed that there were preexisting leaks that is causing the steering problems. It's like my car was tampered with (intentionally or negligently) because it was driving smooth until they got their hands on it. I emailed managers here about the issue (************************* of the service department and the general manager *************************). They sent me pictures (as proof/evidence of the issue) and used wording like "when WE inspected your vehicle" (like somehow they were present at the time in the garage instead of in their offices) it was preexisting. "Sorry but we cannot corrReview from Travis R.

Even after this analysis stating my tread depth is fine they still refused to fix my tire. The nail in my tire was nowhere near the sidewall this analysis says my tread depth is fine but they sent me a separate report stating the tread depth was too shallow to patch. They also stated my engine air filter was in critical condition. The owner manual states the engine air filter needs to be changed every 15k miles. There was 20k miles on the vehicle when I bought it from you guys only 8 weeks ago in which I only put 5k miles on it which leads me to believe it is the same air filter the car came off the assembly line with which also means you sold me a car with a critical air filter. I buy a semi brand new car from your lot and drive it 5 thousand miles and am being told it now needs 4 new tires...brakes...brake fluid.. and an air filter totaling over 1300 dollars. What kind of preventative maintenance or checks are done on your vehicles before they are sold to customersReview from Renae S

This is the 2nd complaint I will make against the Nissan Dealership in colorado Springs colorado on Academy. My son's girlfriend seen a car she liked online at this dealership. She was unable to go up to look at car. She kindly asked if we could go with my son. I had a bad experience with this dealership back on 11/28/2020 and was hesitant to go into this dealership as I purchased a vehicle from them. I said I would give them another try as my son's girlfriend wanted the car. Mind you this dealership still had not given me my floor mats from my other car that was purchased and was promised by the General Manager Jason Oringer. I met with Jaida the sales person. I made a cash offer for the other vehicle for my son's girlfriend. Jaida stated she would ask her sales manager I asked if it was Jason as I wanted to speak to him. She stated he had left for the day. I ended up speaking with the sales manager Sean whom I had spoke to before over the phone and he's a rude cocky man. He sat down and made a comment so your the Renae Sandoval who turned us into the bbb my husband said yes. Sean began to talk rude and stated he would sell us the other car for what we wanted if we took down the complaint from the bbb ummm no is this how they do business. He kept telling me show me in writing we promised you the floor mats for the previous car I purchased. Mind you with covid there was not much a person could do at that time. I have patiently waited for my floor mats.. I have emails where I was keeping in contact with General Manager Jason. I also told him Dave was suppose to bring them down to Pueblo for me. I asked where Dave and Miles was to another employee and he said they no longer work there. The sales manager Sean told us to leave and to never go back into there business. If my son's girlfriend did not want this car I would've never stepped foot in this dealership again. The customer service and the employees and General Managers are unprofessional, rude and don't know how to treat their customers. I will contact corporate office and make a complaint hopefully they contact Terry Taylor the millionaire who owns this business and fire these sales Managers. This dealership needs to close down.Review from Renae S

This place is a joke not only are they crooks also their employees are rude. I purchased a vehicle Nov 2020 from this dealership. My car went to detail and mysteriously my floor mats were taken they tore the corner of my window tint. I called the General Manager who also is a joke rude rude cocky guy. I drive from Pueblo to see this car and yet I have got the run around. They mysteriously found my floor mats and agreed to fix tint for half and I'd come out of pocket for the rest. He I am today may 2021 still no floor mats which he promised to give me. Took the car to get window tint fixed and they had no preauuthorization. My car sat for 2 1/2 hrs and still no tint as they could not reach the General Manager Jason Oringer. He was rude to me and thought he was better than me just because I am a female I know my sh.... I will be contacting The BBB.
