      We hired Fatboy Slims for a move to be completed on 09/15/2023. (Originally was 9/14 but we rescheduled to 09/15/2023). We contacted them for a quote to move:-2-3 Big-Screen **'s -a Washer/Dryer set -A Bowflex Treadmill -Gym equipment -A King ************** -and a desk They confirmed that they can do all of it from unmounting and mounting **'s, disassembling and re-assembling workout equipment, washer dryers, etc. We moved forward with them because that is all we needed done. They did not use ** boxes or ask us to provide boxes or say they couldn't move without boxes. -The most expensive ** is broken (We paid just under $1800 for it recently), line down the middle. I notified them within 10 minutes of them leaving when I turned it on. The owner blamed us for not having a ** box. -The workout equipment- they delivered but didn't re-assemble (which is fine we didn't require them to) but they forgot the screws and pieces. One set was in their toolbox, one set was left at our old house. Thankfully we recovered both after contacting them, but very sloppy. -The treadmill is now broken, it short circuits even though its clearly logged as working every day prior to the move. He says its impossible they broke it even after I sent a photo and video of it short circuiting, and the power being smashed in (which lines up with slamming it down too hard). I also have a broken drawer, scratches on our stairwell and floor in a brand new house, and deep scratches on old house door. He was aggressive in his communication with me to take down the review before issue was resolved (I told him I would happily take the review down with a resolution but not until then). He did offer to get a quote for the ** fix, but once we reported the treadmill and other damage he changed his tone and told us to go the insurance route which again results in less than $100 for over $4,000 of damage due to their neglect and poor business practices, plus the $1,113.84 we spent on moving.

      Transaction date: 10/2/22 Amount paid: ****** Invoice # ****-4 Company committed to delivery of all of our belonging safely and in a timely manner without incident No resolve as of yet, no contact nor response We contracted the company after speaking with at least 30 other moving companies and only after speaking directly with one of the company owners. Co-owner ******* gave us certain assurances that the best team would take care of our move, our belongings would be properly cared for and fully covered in the event something happened. I had explained to the co-owner that i had horrible experiences with moving companies in the past and I was being very cautious in my choosing process, He said I had nothing to worry about. On the date of the move, I was told it would only take 4 hours to load our belongings, it took 13hrs. They had to rent an additional truck, which we had to pay for. On the day of delivery, I received a call that one truck was involved in a fatal accident in which the driver perished and our items were destroyed. We were told if we would be able to go to the sight after the insurance company paid the company the removed the rubbish but only after we paid the moving company in full. We paid and were told we had to get another truck to pick up any of our belongings that were salvageable. Their insurance company offered us $5000 dollars as compensation for a truckload of belongings valued at almost $300,000. We sent letters that have gone unanswered. Emails that have gone unanswered. I only want fairness since they could not promise to safely deliver my items. My family and I are still trying to rebuild after this great loss and its at great expense, not just a financial burden due to the irreparable damage to our belongings but the sentimental value making the loss even more distressing, ie loss of parents' ashes, deceased sons items, wedding dress, video, etc. I cried when I heard the young man lost his life and was very saddened. But I loss too.

      On February 8th I called and spoke with **** to move my household items from ********* **** to ******** ******* The schedule was set for the movers to come April 13 between 8-9 am and would deliver items to a storage unit on the 14th.At that time I paid a deposit of $380. I received the contract via email that I signed I called early April and spoke with a representative to provide them with the address for the storage place On April 12, I double check to verify the delivery time to ******* because I would be driving myself to ******* after the movers pick up items when I noticed they had changed my pick up time on the 13th from 8-9 am to **** pm. I called and spoke to **** and co-owner ******* who advised that movers would not even be there on the 13th possible 14th. Due to trucks stuck in a storm I told them that due to the closing of my house I had to be out on the 13th. I was advised that was not possible Early that evening April 12th I found a local mover that could come and move me on the 13th I called the Fatboys back to cancel and went to voicemail. I left a message Next morning called and spoke with ******** to cancel and get a refund of deposit Documents state I can get a refund if cancel within 24 hours That call was made at 8:18 am MST I was told that I needed to speak with **** who wrote the order and was told I would get a call back I have now called 3-times to speak with **** and nothing Im seeking the refund of my deposit of $380 Thank you

      On January 19, 2022 I hired FatBoy Slims Moving Company to move my adult daughter from her studio apartment to a house.During the move, the movers dropped and shattered a 55" television. I was told by the movers that they would file the claim with their insurance company and that I would be reimbursed in approximately 3-5 days. The movers had me fill out the claim form before they left the premises. I paid in full for their moving services.After several weeks went by, I contacted FatBoy Slims to check on the status. And after several attempts, they responded that they needed photos of the television, which I provided that same day. This was back at the beginning of February.Since then, I have tried to contact Fatboy Slims to obtain status/reimbursement. I have sent emails and left voice mails. They attempted to call me 1 time and left a message, but I have tried numerous times since then to contact them with no response.It's been 2 months since they broke the television. My daughter has gone without television since then and that's unacceptable.
