I hired this company to put gutters and reroof a barn on my property as well as change the pitch. He charged me around $10,000 for this service. Very over priced but wanted the job done. He first came over while I was not home placed all materials on my lawn so that the wind could blow everything away. Instead of placing the materials in a protected area like the barn he was going to work on. He then charged me for loss of materials. The pitch was not done on the roof. The gutters were placed unevenly and not extended with down spouts.There are holes in the roof where snow and rain can damage sides of structure. The roof was not sealed correctly. No caulking was done at the seams etc. He also said, Wil, that a 10 year warranty on the roof. I asked him for the warranty he then said there wasn't any after I paid him. I held back $750 from total amount owed paid the rest and he still has not repaired the issues.Business response

Unfortunately the statements you are posting here do not reflect the facts of our work relationship together. We were contracted to replace a center support that was causing the roof to sag. After that we were to install a metal roof. Both of these items were completed almost a year ago. You were billed for those items per our contract. (See attachment) You paid us $8,635.00 whish is per our contract. The first part of the contract was to replace a section of box gutter on your home which you texted me and asked to use that money towards new gutters on the detached structure. We have the texting records of that conversation. I explained that this would cost an additional $200.00 which you agreed to pay per our texting conversation. We completed that work and then never received payment. You contacted our office with a concern about the install of the gutters. My office made several attempts over several months to set an appointment with you to look at the issue you were not happy with. I reached out to you personally through text and phone calls to come out and look at the issue you said you were unhappy with. You did not reply to us to set a meeting or for us to come back out. This went on for several months without a response from you. We continued to ask for payment for the work we performed. We tried for months to collect payment. I had to file a small claims case to try and recoup our money. You dodge service from the sheriffs office several times over a period of another few months. We still never received a return call to address any issues or for you to make good on your contract obligations. Almost a year went by before we were able to privately serve you which happened in the last few weeks.
