I was introduced to the owner *****, as a realtor representing Black Oak Homes. We met at one of his complete homes ready to be marketed. I had a few potential clients looking for a builder who could accommodate the needs of an *** accessible home and others needing a multigenerational home. ***** took the time to educate me about his product and how Black Oak can accommodate to the needs of multiple types of clients. From the very beginning he has been hands on, involved educational, professional and always accommodating while putting the needs of clients and his team first. From the employer side it is so important for me to be able to truly stand behind the product that Im representing. I can not say it enough that I am proud we build Dream Homes for families. ***** has taught me so much about the vision for Black Oak Homes and their future families. We listen to the clients needs, feedback, the community and the market to always better our knowledge for building dream homes. From start to finish we are involved with communications, selections, education and bringing the custom build process to a successful and enjoyable experience to handing over the keys to be part of the Black Oak Homes family. On the client side I have been going back and forth for a long time on how I will accomplish my familys dreams and goals of providing a home that will fit our needs and I knew from the beginning that I would not look any further because my family needs a home with a few key items that are very important to us, one of them being giving us a home where my son whos disability would not be affected by the layout of the home. We dont want him to feel like there is any barriers or areas throughout the home where he cannot be or access his family. I want him to have access to all the things that will help him progress and grow all within his home. I know that ***** and Black Oak Homes will help us accomplish our familys goals of Our Dream Our Vision and Our Forever Home.

Black Oak Homes was the difference in us getting our dream house built. We had a designed project, a piece of land and broken relationship with our original design build contractor. After interviewing builders in the city, we selected BOH and *****. In our process to select a new builder, we were particularly interested in the selected GC's desire to treat us like a partner. Collaboration was a must, and true willingness to hear our needs, and of course expectations. ***** demonstrated to us through the entire project that we selected the right builder. He was ******************* and available for a quick discussion or to meet on site for a walk. *****'s assistant, ***** did a fantastic job managing all the traffic and trades necessary to complete the project successfully. I can't say that I am eager to build another custom home, but if we were to, our expectation would be to work with *** and *****. In the end, we have a beautiful custom home and we are incredibly appreciative of the partnership with Black Oak Homes, A ******** Custom Home Builder.

Weve been in our new home almost 3 years. It was started just as Covid made everything harder than normal, plus we were living 500 miles away at the time. Black Oak went above and beyond to help us with our forever home. We were in regular contact with them during the build. They were very responsive and kept us up to date during the process. The fit and finish are outstanding! Any little bumps in the road were resolved promptly and to our satisfaction. They deserve five stars.

We have been lucky to have worked together with *** on several projects over the past year. ***** offers professional quality in all of his projects by making sure their subcontractors are on time, perform their duties professionally, and get the job done on time. ***** has been extremely professional and efficient in his work and stays involved at a level that keeps the homeowner at ease during the building process. Any homeowner choosing to select BOH for their custom home will be very pleased and extremely satisfied.

Akeem built my custom home on my lot. My home came out exactly as I wanted it. He was professional to work with and always returned my calls personally and was quick to respond. That is unheard of in this industry for a builder to work directly with you. He even let me pick out and order my own supplies to help me cut some costs and use my own vendors that I had a relationship with. My house turned out better than expected and looks like a model home. He was a joy to work with and I highly recommend him in custom homes and with his gorgeous spec homes.

The jury is still out. We closed in April of last year and there were several items on our list that have not been resolved. We have left several messages via email and phone messages for the past three months with no response. There are items that were not finished during any of the walk-throughs. Perhaps this message will prompt a response, to not only me, but others who are also waiting for a response.
