My vehicle had been in the possession of **** and Son Repair Shop since April of 2023. I finally retrieved it this past week in June. I originally reached out to them for help because of my circumstances I am currently on welfare and they were suggested to me by my TanF worker who helps me out as i try to get off government assistance, she said they have a stranded motorist fund that they help people with car repairs if when reviewed are found to be applicable. There must have been a miscommunication between myself and the company as they knew i was reaching out to them for much needed help I made it very aware of them that I was supposed to be receiving help from them because I could not afford the repairs that they were charging. This also went from a $400 bill for a water pump replacement to $2,400 repair bill for other things I didnt want, so weeks went by and I was unable to get the funding from the ** and did not know that they didn't know I was expecting them to help me I finally received the stranded motorist fun application from them at the beginning of May. they said it could take months. The whole time i thought that they were going to help but they were just trying to keep my car I ended up going over there and picking it up against their wishes and not only did I not have a fixed vehicle but ended up paying. were supposed to be helping me but they did not upon receiving my vehicle I had my friend checking it out and I noticed that all speakers had been removed from my doors they had cut wires in the back connecting to the air ride system both air ride systems have been removed from both sides of the car they kept my battery and left my water pump hanging out without any cover it's an electrical water pump so it was damaged by the rain all these things were in the vehicle when I left it there those couple months and when I came back to get it it had all been taken out they say that they gave the battery back but nowhere to find it I need help.

************** who worked on your car stated that he noticed the wires had been cut before we ever inspected it and at no time did we install or remove any speakers. We did install the battery that was sitting in your vehicle uninstalled, as we could not diagnose anything on the car without being able to turn it on.That is the battery that continues to be installed in your car.Prior to our inspection, your car sat on our lot starting in late April as you had it towed here without letting us know it was your car or that it was being towed in.It sat on our lot for approximately a week with the window down and unlocked as we had no way of locking the vehicle without the keys.We finally were able to locate identifying information for you inside the vehicle and reached out to you to ask if it was yours. You said yes and agreed to bring in the keys.We did an inspection on the car on April 28 at which time we recommended further diagnostics. We did diagnostics on the car after you gave direct phone approval to our service consultant on May 2.When asked who would be paying, you responded that we (**** & Son) have grants for that.We told you there was a process for our grant ******* said your lawyer would pay for the diagnostics. After completing the diagnostics and giving you an estimate on the necessary repairs, you let us know that your lawyer would not be paying the bill and you didnt have the money. We agreed to split the cost of the diagnostics with you and you paid approximately $180 for that. You stated that you wanted to apply for our fund for the cost of the recommended repairs. Our service consultant had let you know on May 16 that this process takes time and you have to be approved before any repairs would be covered. We received your Stranded Motorist application on May 30 by emailwe still have not received all of your paperwork to move forward. We try to help everyone we can but there is a lot of necessary communication for that to be successful.

Oct 3rd 2022 After struggling to find a mechanic that would install an aftermarket airbag delete/coil conversion on my **** Lexus GX470, I spoke with technicians at *********** who assured me multiple times they had experience and could perform the work. Oct 12th 2022 Vehicle was dropped off and inspected and estimate of $3332 was given.Oct 19th 2022 Work was completed and vehicle picked up.Oct 20th 2022 Vehicle was returned for loud whining noise coming from rear axle while accelerating. Oct 24th 2022 Informed that the bearings within the rear differential are damaged with a cost of $2833. I asked if this was related to the suspension work that was performed and was told it was not possible despite not having this problem, nor having any whining noised coming from the vehicle prior.I was allowed to look at the vehicle while it was on a lift, and noticed that several components that were necessary for the original aftermarket airbag delete/coil conversion were missing. Namely the brackets that lock the springs to the axles.I then accused *********** of not having the expertise they originally claimed to have since they allowed me to leave with a vehicle that was arguably unsafe. As well as with damage it didn't have prior to bringing it to them.*********** did acknowledge that they inadvertently missed the brackets and did have them installed. Although, they continued to insist that the two problems are completely unrelated.Because *********** was in possession of my vehicle, I paid the invoice for the differential work under duress and am currently disputing the charges with my CC company. While *********** clearly overstated their ability to perform the aftermarket airbag delete/coil conversion, they were eventually able to do it correctly and I am willing to pay the agreed upon amount for that work. But t's clear that they damaged my vehicle in the process of learning how to do it, and that damage I am unwilling to pay for.

This occurred Tuesday, November 15, 2022. I work at a wheel and tire shop and noticed I had one stud that was moving freely. I took my car to get ONE SINGLE STUD fixed. Instead of doing that, they didnt fix my problem, crossthreaded ANOTHER lug nut and attempted to weld my ALLOY wheel to my ROTOR and I told them not to. I now have to take my car to get more problems fixed. They also did not put my wheel back on correctly, nor did they torque it. Upon calling this so called repair shop they told me they put it on and torqued it so they couldnt help me. I work with wheels all day and I know when lug nuts arent tightened down.

I have had both of my vehicles in this shop for well over 4 months in the last year. Every time we get our vehicles back, there has been another issue that has presented itself. These issues all fall into the same system serviced by the shop. My 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee has had over $20thousand in repairs done by this shop alone and has gone at the longest, two weeks without being back for either warranty work on their repair or a new issue. The most common issue is there has been failure of all parts of the engine cooling system since the thermostat and water pump were replaced. After the thermostat and water pump were replaced, the oil cooler failed causing the engine to overheat, that was replaced. After the oil cooler, the water pump failed again. After the water pump failing, the radiator mysteriously developed a crack, and that was replaced. Now, we have a coolant leak somewhere again, one week later. The only thing we did not pay for in this cycle was the second and third replacement of the water pump. My 2015 ram **** eco diesel was brought in for a bad glow plug, we were informed that the plugs could not be replaced as they had seized into the heads. We also had the water pump on this vehicle replaced while at the shop. During this repair stent, the catalytic converter was stolen and we were blatantly lied to about how it occurred. They did repair and replace the catalytic converter under their dime. Upon return of the vehicle, I was informed by the tech that now there is only three functioning glow plugs as two more were damaged during the repair attempt.

Coming into the shop, I had to find a specific shop to work on mini coopers because theyre foreign. My car is in EP (limo mode) and I needed that to be fixed specifically. When I called, ****** answer the phone and estimated my cost for a diagnostic check up to be around 59.99-180 (depending on the level of the check 1-8) but, after a day or two, I called them and they said the cost would be 664$. They also insisted They would probably be able to lower the price once they go through the levels to find whats wrong. I agreed 664 would be ok, knowing in the back of my mind that it could go lower. After 3 days in the shop, not only did they charge me 664, but nothin was fixed, only checked. they checked the car (level 8) it was actually just a seal in the transmission, and I would have to change the trans control unit and the wiring to partially fix it, which would be over ****. With that 664 I paid, I thought they would have atleast done some sort of labor but I felt as if I was lied to. Looking on the service auto report Thry gave me, it said that they were doing a transmission harness and soon after I paid them the 664, it wasnt on my service listed because that was apart of the ****, but why would it be listed beforehand in the services being performed? How can a diagnostic jump up to nearly 700 dollars when the estimate beforehand was ****** **** I feel this is extremely unjustified and marked up for no reason, especially under the thought that the wire was changed in the service. I do not have screenshots of the older service statement saying they were going to do the Wiring harness, but the screenshot is after I picked the csr up and they removed those services off of the service report.

We have tried to get in touch with the customer to come to a resolution. She texted us asking for a phone call. We have called and left 3 to 4 messages, including once again today, and also sent her a text requesting a phone call back. We have yet to hear back from the customer and we are still trying to reach her to find a resolution.
