***************************** was our broker, and we couldn't have asked for a better person. He kept in constant contact with us the entire 4 weeks it took to have our 2023 RAV4 delivered. No other auto dealer could even give us a date when or if a RAV4 would be available. First time we ever used a broker, but we will be coming back to **** for our next vehicle and gladly refer him to our friends and family.Review from Frank R

I went to HM Brown in person on May 3rd to start the process of buying a vehicle for my wife. I gave some parameters of what I was looking for. I was told I would be contacted when any prospects would be found. After 1 month, no response. I emailed and called and I felt the broker had forgotten I even spoke with him. I informed him that I could bend the parameters to widen the search and I even sent links to over 10 vehicles to give an idea of what I was looking for. Another month passes and by 4th of July I had sent another email to inquire the status. By the way, I can travel and I was willing to go national for a vehicle. Again, crickets on a response. After 3 months of no information, no response and no action, I had no choice but to take my money and business elsewhere. Within 1 week, I was able to purchase my wife's dream car by August. I was basically ghosted by HM Brown from the start. I don't know if they didn't take me seriously or plain forgot about me. Poor customer service.Review from michael k

Be careful if you work with them. Our son bought a used Subarau in December. Our salesman, Malcolm H****, assured us we did not need to have it inspected because their mechanics would do that and fix what was needed. Five months later the car died on the highway. We towed it to a real Subaru mechanic who told us it needed a new engine, had improper parts installed, and a bolt missing from the engine. It cost our son $5000 to get it back on the road. Unfortunately, despite our providing documentation and photos, as well as putting the Subaru mechanic in direct contact with HM Brown, Jeff, the GM, would not share any responsibility for the repairs. Instead, he suggested that the engine failed because the oil had not been changed soon enough and "used cars break." They are very friendly, but when push came to shove and we had a real problem, they washed their hands of it and left us with the bill.Review from Jill C

This is the second car I have leased through HMBrown with the exceptional help of Jesse B**** who has become my broker. He is responsive, persistent, patient and gracious. In a market where it is very hard to source cars he listened well and within a week — during which I was also moving! — he found me exactly what I had described. I recommend him highly, and without reservation.
