DO NOT USE BlySky Restoration in ********* **! If I could give them a negative star I would. We had a house fire 2 YEARS ago. They said they would complete the job in 6 months. They are still not completed with the job. We have been through numerous project and general managers because they are so incompetent. Our kids were without a home for years because of their lack of ability to do a job. We have refused to pay the last 20% of the job because they did work that was so poor or because they are charging us for work they did not do so THEY PUT A LIEN ON OUR HOME! Their communication is horrible as well. RUN AWAY!

This company is a predatorial company that preys on people that are going through a tragedy. They cut corners to make a profit. And they promise good workmanship and deliver sub-standard results. Do yourself a Huge favor and DO NOT USE BluSky Restoration as they will promise to help. But in reality all they care about is that insurance claim you receive for the project. Terrible company!

After Blusky serviced our property they left trash cans full of water we had to take care of. Also they moved a fridge and left it unplugged for 5 day while we were out of town. The owner or *************** is the most unprofessional person I have ever seen in a long time. Not sure how they are A+ rated. They also charge way more than any other mitigation company around by a lot. I am very surprised this is how they treat one of there own neighbors. As one of them came recommended from my neighbor and he lives right behind me.

This place does keep record of work they did supplies they used. They never gave me any receipt to show my insurance company. I spent over 10k at this place of business. Called multiple times. Got told I speak to loud(I am hard of hearing) then got told becuase I'm a veteran doesn't make me right for speaking loud(still hard of hearing) got tired and just went in the **** place. Tried to get my receipts. Then got confronted by the *** which assured me he was gonna call me back Friday and he never did. Ignored my calls. How is this legal and he can keep a business. I felt like I was a victim of skin color treatment. Completely avoidable. I need help obtaining receipts I won't stop until I get what's mine.

Our home burned in April of 2022. Blusky was hired the following month in May. After months of no work being performed, the roof and 3 walls were removed. Again, a few months went by with no work being performed. In Ocotober of 22 we terminated them. We paid $105,000 for the initial down payment. After termination we were charged $50,000 for the little work performed. When I spoke with them, more excuses and then I was spoken down to. Our home was started last weekend, April 22nd. ThIs morning, 4/29, when the work crew showed up for work, the electrical hookup was illegally removed. I texted Blusky to ask about this. The return text said they had no idea but, it was Karma! After over a year, *** terminated for 7 months, we are still dealing with the unprofessionalism and rudeness of this company. I never thought our nightmare could get any worse, this company has put us through absolute misery.

This organization was assigned to my home due to a homeowners insurance claim. Every project they were assigned to in my home was not done professionally and had to be fixed multiple times. From painting the home, to replacing tile in the master bathroom, and lastly the hardwood floors they had to "refinish and or sand" 3 times. This organization did a horrible job and continued to send the same contractors back to "fix" their work. I requested new contractors to complete the issues and was denied. They are leaving a 2 ft wide by 1 ft long divot in my floor and stated this was pre existing after their 3rd refinish. This was never brought to the homeowners attention on their first or second attempt to fix the hardwood floors. This was also not brought to our attention when they spent an entire day taking photos and "observing" the project site before work began. Insurance companies should not be recommending their services to home owners. They consistently mess the job up and take zero accountability. This organization was formerly known as JC Restoration.

******************, Thank you for voicing your concerns. We understand your frustration, as our teams know this flooring project was a little complicated. However, we completed the work we were contracted to perform, and when there was an issue with the outcome of the maple floor stain, we recommended returning it to its original finish (by sanding as you mention), as maple flooring does not hold stain very well, without a conditioner applied first (which you chose to forego). Regarding the divot you mention, or rather, the uneven base flooring, as well as the flooring in general, our team along with your insurance provider brought in an independent inspector, citing ****************************************) standards in his inspection. As per below, the inspection found the finish of the floor normal and consistent with wood flooring, and the subfloor variants consistent with a preexisting site-related issue. We have been in business a long time in the ******* area, and pride ourselves on having experienced, talented, and certified team members. We always do our best to restore properties to pre-loss condition or better and do whatever we can within our means to make things right. Inspector report excerpt:Conclusion-The concerns are the flooring is uneven after professional sand and finishing and the flooring looks different. Visual inspection found normal variations in shade consistent with the species and other areas of the flooring. The area of concern pointed out by the homeowner in the 3/4"X2-1/4 Solid Maple strip flooring was observed to be a high spot. Level/Flatness testing found the flooring to be out of flat to 3/8 in 6 with high spots. The flooring slants away from the perimeter of the area of concern. Testing finding areas of 3/8 variance is an indication that the issue was present before the sanding of the floor. Had the finisher removed 3/8 off the surface of the boards this would take about 1/2 of the thickness of the board and there would be visual signs to confirm the material was removed. These signs could include the appearance of the tongue, groove or fasteners. This is consistent with a preexisting site related issue.Cause-This is a Site related issue.

Blusky was called in to do a restoration on my kitchen and bathroom from water damage. They did awful job!! They left a lot of the job undone. No lighting fixture for the ceiling in the kitchen and no replacement tile for the tile they had to take off in the kitchen and bathroom. They also left a hole in the wall in the bathroom. They threaten you with a lien on your home and collection agency if you don't pay them. To think my insurance company recommend this business and I gave them an ear full regarding the problems.

Took 1 year & 3 months for a 6-7 month repair. Moved into the house without hot water, without working HVAC, bathtub not hooked up properly & water leaks in the majority of our sinks. Since then have had to replace the ceiling 2x due to pipes not being installed properly causing ************** replacement. Company attempted to charge us for Marble Flooring we did not pick (they put it 2x on the same invoice). Attempted to charge us $3k for Blinds that they previously advised only cost $600. Since November of last year I have been waiting on them to confirm the amount of credit we have due to coming under our allowance budget. They have attempted 2x to say we were over budget (see the above example of marble flooring & Blinds). Still haven't received anything from them but the ************ continues to send us the Final Invoice despite the fact they haven't credited our account. I don't have the time or energy to go into all the issues. What used to be a good company that was sold 2x, overbooked to get maximum $ & stopped caring about ****************** service. Not worth the heartache.

Blusky was called into do a restoration on 2 of my homes. One was for water damage one was for mold. The one for water damage their workers did more damage than what originally needed repaired, they cut ceiling tiles inside my home causing the need to clean all our air ducts. They were to replace drop ceiling tiles. First crew did hit or miss on my tiles and my husband and I had to go to our basement pick up all tiles from the ceiling and **** ones replaced. So the manager could get another crew into replace them. My ceiling, hallway and landing ceiling is still not replaced. They were to replace door facings and caulk they put a hole in they drywall and covered it with casing. They were to caulk next to the casing but caulk 3 quarters out into my red paint. They got caulking on 3 of my walls and were supposed to repaint and did not. After 3 attempts and more damage my husband was done with blusky. So my ceiling is not done. I have a hole in my drywall, I have caulking out 3 quarters of an inch on red paint, I have a scratched up countertop, paint on my wall, and air ducts full off dust from cut ceiling tiles. My other house was to have air ducts clean they sent someone in who looked into one vent and said these are clean and squirted something 8n one vent and left. They left the garage a mess, they tracked drywall tracks into home so I have to clean the carpet. Needless to say I am not happy and have to pay them $2800 for destroying my home. They said that is for work completed. They did a part of my ceiling and that's pretty much it. I would not use this company again and advise beware very unhappy

Extremely poor service and cheats, not worth even a single star. There was a minor water damage to my unit in a large high rise condominium in ******* in Jan 2022. ** Restoration was contracted by our building **********. The ** Restoration person visited my unit and after check, informed only a small 5" x 5" wet patch in bathroom ceiling is affected in my unit nd no wall is impacted. However while installing blower fan, they damaged bathroom vanity and removed a long wooden piece from the vanity base without informing us. We noticed it next day and informed them through our bldg ********** office with pics. Initially **R person said they will compensate but no one showed up. After long wait on Feb 15th, I asked for the status. Their Restoration Manager, *******************, replied through an email that they are not responsible and asking me to file a claim it as water damage to my insurance. He further says that he won't be discussing on this issue. He also claims that the wooden piece removed was water damaged, but not answering as to why it was removed without informing, and still not returned. STAY AWAY FROM CHEATS. I have also informed our **************** to blacklist them from all future work. Didn't wanted to give any negative star but have no option but to click on one star (NEGATIVE).

Ashok, thank you for your feedback. As communicated previously to both you and your building property manager, the removal of the toekick (long wooden piece on vanity) was approved by your condo by-laws, in order to investigate water damage in your unit. Our team found previous water damage in this area, and reported it to you. Photos and reports were provided. We recommend contacting your insurance company regarding the vanity. Thank you.
