There was a bit of confusion with dispatch about my location, but the driver Maxx from Marvs Quality Towing in Boulder was great! He very cheerfully changed my tire in sub-freezing temperatures on the side of a busy road. It was a stressful situation, but Maxx put me right at ease and did everything quickly and skillfully. I’m not no lawyer or expert in law but that doesn’t look clean and clear according to the county municipal code 7-7-11 Article m m) Whether on the private property where the tow originates or at the towing carrier's storage lot, a towing company shall not refuse to relinquish personal property. The towing company shall immediately relinquish such items upon demand, without requiring payment and without additional charge. Ordinance No. 8295 (2019) This place will not let can you get any of my personal belongings phone wallet clothing etc. This place wants paid but then will not let you get your own resources required to come Across payment.? This place is not give me my belongings back then I’m going to follow through with the lawsuit

Hi, Thank you for your review. The codes you cited are for private impounds and do not pertain to Police Impounds. Your vehicle was impounded by a Police agency with a different set of rules that they set. With out proper documentation ie, Current Registration, Current Insurance and a valid drivers license. We can not prove ownership at the Police Departments request. There for we can not allow you to take any items out of a vehicle we can not prove is yours. I know you spoke with Boulder Police Department, I know they told you the same requirements. I understand it is a frustrating situation however we have protocols to follow. If you can get the proper current documents and come back we are more then happy to help you get your car out.
