Meritrust credit union had recently merged with another bank, and has started fraudulent charges with their new rearrangement of charges scheme. They have ever since the merge been moving my money around to gain access to overdraft fees. Now I'm not broke but I do run my finances at this bank low bc I am in a high tax bracket bc I make to much so I out half of what I make I not 401 or as much as I'm allowed. That said my acct runs low when I put so much into 401. Well I have caught them and recorded then rearranging money so that it looks like I overdafted my acct. They tried saying well some ppl wasn't getting charged overdraft fees so they chaeged some things well that's fraud ladys and gentleman. I'm sure there is 100s of ppl that are suffering from this yeah this is not my only acct and this isn't going to starve me out. But some ppl it might and that's not right. There has been multiple times when I have money wired or deposited from my 401 they hold on to it for a rediculous amount of time so that I get charged all these fees like they say 3 days but they have my money for 3 whole days then make me wait another 2 days over the weekend and say well the federal reserve wasn't open. It doesn't matter they are making money off of my money by holding it for that long in the first place yet they charge me overdraft fee after overdraft fee bc they can move my money around. They used to be a good bank.Business Response

I cannot get into my accounts to transfer some of my money as i have always done since 1975. That should be available at all times! Also, their automated system is a piece of c*** It has no idea what you are asking. That "*****" artificial intelligence is crap! I will find another credit union now. IBM/Premiere members has gone down the dumpster.Customer Answer

They stated I didn't have insurance so they added an insurance fee to my monthly payments. I have spoken to 3 different people throughout August 2024 - November 2024 and have provided proof all three times that I had obtained a full year coverage before I even left the lot. I have an email to allied on 11/26/24 proving the 3rd time I sent it. We even had the General reach out twice to show proof. I signed a contract stating I would pay $715/month but I paid $720 each month. They recently repossessed my car on 7/8/25 stating I was over 100 days past due but the payments have come out of my account every month for $720. I had to send proof of insurance for the fourth time. My policy ended at the end of June and I was going to renew for a whole year on 7/11, which was my payday (It was not being driven the last 2 weeks) but now they are wanting me to pay over $2000 to get it back. It shouldn't have been repossessed in the first place. I have had insurance the full year and paid the amount I signed for every month. I spoke with a consultant named **** on Wednesday 7/9 and she told me if I didn't have the money by Friday 7/11, they were auctioning it off on Monday. I know there isn't a mandatory law stating a specific waiting period but it does say they need to give me "reasonable time". 3 Business days is not a reasonable time. I called multiple times over 7/9-7/11. I finally asked to speak to a legal advisor or someone higher in command. I have a voice mail from **** stating their supervisor's phone was having issues and they put a ticket in but she probably wouldn't get back to me today, Friday, even though my car is going to be auctioned on Monday. I called back and was hung up on 2 times after waiting on hold for 20+ minutes each time. Now I'm trying to figure out if I need to take legal action because I do have proof that I sent proof of insurance multiple times and now I'm in this situation.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The car was repossessed because the payments were overdue because of the insurance issue. I provided proof of insurance on 2 different occasions prior to the repossession (and again after that) and made the payments on time every month. The car should have never been repossessed in the first place. As much as I am appreciative for refunding me for the insurance issue, that still does not get me my car back or the repossession off of my name. I'm not sure if it was because my name was not the first one on the insurance that it was disregarded the first 2 times I sent it over, but this situation should have never have happened in the first place. I have provided insurance proof 3 times now and paid on time every month. I don't know if it is even possible to get the vehicle back but I do not want this on my record when I've done everything correct since the moment I signed the paperwork for the vehicle.

Boulder valley credit Union is listed to close at 5:00 on Friday but I go there at 4:30 and they are closed there is no sign posted on their door as to why it is a little snowy but I feel they should make it known if they are closing early due to weather conditions or have an employee that is available to uphold the bank hours posted on their business.Business Response

My vehicle was financed through Premier Credit Union. I was late on my September payment. I still made the payment, and I didn't have any missed payments either, but they repoed the vehicle. They didn't just repo it either, they made it impossible to get it refinanced by destroying my credit score.Business Response

I was a co-signer on a vehicle for someone. They contacted me anytime the vehicle was behind on payments. They just repossessed the vehicle without letting me know the payments were behind or contacting me at all. They said they dont have to contact anyone but the primary owner. I feel like as a co-signer I should also be made aware if the vehicle is in repossession status. When I spoke to them on the 19th not once did they give me a deadline nor say anything about the vehicle being up for repossession. She also said that I signed a contract stating that I would be liable for making the payments but if Im not aware that the payments arent being made because the vehicle belongs to someone else how am I supposed to make a payment or know that a payment needs to be made? I feel like the vehicle shouldnt have been repossessed without at least reaching out to me.Business Response

I signed an auto lease for a 2011 *** 550i back on Oct 4, 2019 through LA motors Premier Members Credit Union in ********. The car was listed for $13,499, the loan I got for the car was for $20,000 including the interest rate over a 60 month loan. In 2020 the pandemic hit, I lost everything and had to take the pandemic relief offerings that the bank was giving to its car loan customers. I took the relief request 3 times when the pandemic caused me to make late payments in 2021. However, I was able to mange getting my payments caught up in 2022, just to suffer a setback in early 2023 when the car broke down. I couldnt afford payments on a car note and the insurance the bank advised me to have due to Covid. They told me it would make my monthly car note higher since they had to add insurance, but I agreed to it because the premium for their insurance plus the car note was a lot less then paying for my own insurance and car note. They did not once say to me that using their insurance would raise the rates of my apr, nor did they convey that my apr and late fees were staking up as they claimed on a call. When last asked if I was caught up on payments I was told yes, nothing about what I owed outside of the loan. So I expected my lease was on schedule, but theyre claiming I still owe 7k on the car loan with no explanation why even though my payments are caught up. Thats c*** Were on month 59 of a 60 month lease. *** also invested well over 9k of personal money into making sure the car continues to run. Before my 5 year leasing agreement will supposed to have ended on Oct 4, 2024, I will have replaced *( both turbos, coolant turbo lines, fuel pump, water pump, serpentine belt, valve gasket, smaller oil pan gasket which was a twelve hr job very expensive, thermostat, driver side radiator and backup camera) and thats jus what I can immediately remember. I shouldnt be paying more money for this vehicle and I shouldnt be paying 27k on a 13k loan. Please help.Business Response

This has happened within the last month. I lost my job and I'm also a realtor so money has been a problem. I ******** my account which I accept the fee, then it gets to be over $1000 and they just decline the transaction but still charge me the $32 fee. Over the past month, they have charged me ****************************** $1088 which is double what I was originally overdraft for, $500. Outrageous! How are you helping the problem!
