Sugar Coated Sharks at Boulder Natural Boutique!
My complaint and WARNING for others is about Boulder Natural Boutique at 1048 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302.

On Wednesday Jan 6th 2022, I was walking down the Boulder Colorado Pearl St Mall. I was approached by a young, friendly woman who opened a conversation about how beautiful the day was etc. Amelia/Amy coaxed me into Boulder Natural Boutique and convinced me to sit in one of their salon chairs and began spreading eye cream around my eyes, claiming the "Eyelifting Introstem Syringe" could take years off of my face. I explained to her I was not a person who bought face creams etc. That I believed eating well, exercising etc were the key to feeling well. Amelia/Amy (25 from Argentina) was lively, friendly and very convincing. However, she used deceitful methods to convince me to purchase the products. She said that the Eye lifting cream went for 1200.oo for one syringe, but that she would sell it to me for $600.oo. I quickly let her know I had never spent more than $20,oo for a face cream. That that price was way out of my economic ball park. She then leaned in to me and starting whispering "well I could sell you this miracle eye syringe for $400.oo. She went on and on about what a wonderful, miracle product the Introstem was. She went on and on about her mother having a terrible eye, face lift and how this product solved everything for her mother. I again repeated that I could not afford. She got up and huddled with her co-workers and came back throwing more compliments my way and that she was just told she could sell me two of the Introstem Eye Syringes for $400.oo. "SSShhh" she kept repeating. That one of the packages was torn, but she could provide this deal for me 2 for $400.oo A $2400.oo dollar price for 2 for $400.oo. Amelia/Amy (she said she went by both names) was extremely assertive and dangled both products in my face all of the time whispering what a deal this was, how I should not mention this to anyone else and how she "so liked me" and "wanted me to have this deal"......"SSSShhhh" she kept repeating. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE been so swindled by such a convincing swindler. Under a great deal of sales pressure applied by Amelia I purchased two Introstem Eye Syringes. Amelia took my credit card and did not hand it back to me directly. SHE DID NOT TELL ME AT THAT TIME THAT THE PRODUCTS WERE NON REFUNDABLE. NEVER EVER MENTIONED THIS AT ALL.
Within minutes she had me move over to another salon chair and how AVI (lives in Costa Rica) was one of the best skin experts in the company. How he was the number one sales person in company. How even though he had an appointment, he could do a face mask treatment on me. Ameila/ Amy went on and on, how Avi was "the best, how this was a HUGE opportunity for me." Amelia went on and on "listen to everything AVI says" Over and over again "how this was such an opportunity" over and over she repeated this. Soon Avi was gently spreading some kind of face treatment on my face. Avi quite frankly was very gentle but the whole time he is showing me a skin face massage. How it worked stimulating collagen below the surface. He had me watch a video about that piece of equipment that cost $12,000 dollars. That's right TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. I almost choked. If I had had false teeth they would have fallen out of my mouth. I drive around in an old Subaru worth about one thousand bucks. He continued telling me about face products that cost $6000.oo but he could sell them to me for $3000.oo. I asked him about the alleged customer that he had in the back (that is what Amerlia had told me when she said he was going to take the time on my face, even though he had a customer waiting for him in the back). I asked AVI about this "don't you have someone waiting for you" I asked. He brushed my question off. Clearly part of Amelia's set up to convince me to sit in that chair. Utter ******** on her part. Part of the planned scam. I believe that. Part of a planned scam. The employee's at Boulder Natural Boutique had huddled several times in the front of the business, in the corner. I let AVI know I could not afford anything like 6000 thousand, that spending the 400 dollars was way out of my economic range. AVI pushed saying I could purchase the products for 3000 thousand. I again explained I could not afford anything. That I needed to go and pick up my grandson after school. He did not listen and kept pushing. I could have the products for $700.oo. I again, told Avi I could not afford and for the third time told him "I really needed to go" His whole being seemed to shift and he pressed even harder "put it on a credit card" I looked him in the eyes once again and let him know ONCE AGAIN. That I could not afford the products Amelia/Amy had convinced me to buy. Avi seemed pissed.

I got out of the store with my credit card the products I had bought under extreme and clearly well studied high pressure techniques. I went and picked up my grandson after school I was almost late due to Avi's persistence, resistance to what I was saying "I NEED TO GO" I had said to him four times.

Later on, that evening I looked at the receipt and saw that the products were not refundable. I also found the products I had been told by Amelia cost $1200.oo sold for $200.oo a piece even as cheap as $169.oo. I then realized I had been had, scammed, snockered, taken advantage of, had the wool pulled over my eyes, by very sophisticated and sugar coated sales sharks. Both Amelia and Avi are scammers, sales sharks and while down deep I think they could be very good people and find more honorable work for them to invest their time in, besides scamming people.

I called that Friday and talked with Makala and asked if I could get a refund for one of the syringes. That i would accept responsibility for being such a fool (have never been scammed like that) and keep one of the over priced syringes but would like a refund for the other. She said the owner MOSES was the only person who could make such a decision. That I should call back on Sunday or Monday to talk with Moses. I called on Sunday, no one answered. Called twice on Monday and spoke with Makala once again. I once again asked a for a refund on one of "Eye Lifting Introstem Syringes" Again, Makala told me Moses (who was skiing on Monday when I called). l also repeated to Makala two times "I do not text, I do not text" left Boulder on Tuesday.

I want to warn potential customers SHARK BAIT of "Boulder Natural Boutique" not to go in, not to listen to these high pressure, deceitful, manipulative, fraudulent sales people. Avi, Amelia, Moses if you believe in your products why do you use such horrific sales strategies.

Avi, Amelia go get more honorable professions. You are both smart, savvy (too savvy) people. You don't need to be swindlers. Moses I am still willing to work this out and return the one syringe for what I paid for it. Have not met you Moses, but not worth it to use such high pressured sales strategies.
