I hired the business to landscape around my new home. We paid the company a total of $18060.95. The front yard came out okay but the back yard was a disaster. We had flooding is***s. Land was destroyed that didn't need to be. There was all around shoddy work with a retaining wall (falling part and not constructed properly in general to include incorrect materials), dirty rock was used, inappropriate rock was used, lack of top soil so patches of sod died, grading not done properly, landscaping fabric was not used where it should have been, rock laid unevenly, etc. The business attempted to fix the is***s after the yard flooded twice. The is***s were not fixed and in fact, made worse. The business had several third party contactors come to the house. One told her how to fix it and she didn't follow his instruction. Another was sent to only to fix the grading. When I found out that's all she intended on paying to fix, I asked for a bid to fix everything. That bid came to $11931.90. I A contractor of my choice provided a bid for $11451 to minimally fix all is***s to include the shoddy work. The business attempted a business insurance claim that denied everything. I asked several times for a $10,000 refund check and she denied the offer. I have a 28 page document with a dated timeline and photos of all activity and communications that is unfortunately too large to attach but it's available if asked for. I've also retained an attorney to *** her in county court but that process is having is***s. I would be perfectly happy with a $10,000 refund to at least get some of my money back.
