5/27/23 paid for a move. Paid 950 total. I used this mover on 5/27/23. For a 2bdrm move from 3rd floor to a 3bdroom 2nd floor apt which the owner was made aware of when i requested a quote. They were 3.5 hours late. I was given an arrival time of "between 1pm and 2pm", they arrived at 4:30pm. They damaged the apartment I was moving out of, one of his employees tried to move a king size mattress and bed rails at the same time and fell with all the items causing gashes in 2 walls, damaged my adjustable bed frame by dragging it on concrete, got oil stains on 2 peices of my light grey sectional, very large stains might I add and refuse to pay to have it cleaned! The owner slapped some type of spackle on the walls to fill the gashes, didnt sand, didnt paint! Scratched up the top of my TV stand, rip 2 legs off the bottom of my TV stand, which is 3 years old and was in great shape before it was handled by this company, which he attempted to repair the stripped legs on the bottom. They kept taking breaks, i would find them sitting down, that happened 3 times that i caught. Time was adjusted due to their breaks which I was NOT paying for. On the way to the new location they decided to stop at a gas station for drinks and snacks, very unprofessional, yet expect me to pay for their breaks and snack runs! My husband and son did at least 30% of the work! The owner wouldn't provide I surance information for me to file a claim because he took off $90 off for the move for my family members having to do a big bulk of the move. This owner feels I complained because I didn't want to pay, I make 140k per years, the bill was never the issue, the poor service was the problem. Do a better job and you will not have unhappy clients!
