SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND HEADACHE AND FIND A TAX SERVICE COMPANY THAT WILL ACTUALLY DO THE WORK THATS NEEDED TO BE DONE They sold me lie after lie and I continued to listen and have trust that they would help me. They negotiated a deal with my state without even consulting me prior to submitting. I honestly think they submitted incorrect information, but I cannot be sure because they never showed me or what over with me what was submitted. Just gave me a payment plan through and email that I could never honor. I could have called the state and did that for myself without paying them tons of money with the same result, honestly probably better as I have negotiated much better terms with the other state I owed money too. They never finished the work they were contracted to do. The best person they have on their team is the person they subcontract to handle returns. **** they are helpful to people with easier cases than mine, but they botched my case pretty bad and I am out *****+ dollars to capstone and have to rehire a more trusted source as I feel capstone Please save your money and mental health and find people that truly want to help you fix your situation I promise capstone doesn't. They literally did the minimum requirement needed to keep me paying until I was paid in full then ttheir true colors began to shine. I truly wish they put 50% of the effort toward my case that they put getting money from me. I truly could go on forever on my unfavorable experience and how they sold me alot of hope to turn around and legally rip me off. . They are out to get your money and that is it. If anyone knows a good reputable source I am truly open because I really just wasted almost 2 years of Capstone dragging me along. I need someone that can actually do what they say they will.

I have been in communication with **************** and thoroughly reviewed this case history.  ******************** review paints a very lopsided account of our representation and omits key facts.  In February, when the *** payment plan was established, it was established promptly in order to release a drivers license hold.  We wanted to use the *** payments as "allowable expenses" for the *** Offer in Compromise so he would have his best chance of success.  We discussed this with him.  We could not accomplish the release of driver's license hold earlier because he had several years of missing returns that we worked with him to file.  We completed that work.  We were successful in accomplishing the review of driver's license hold as soon as that was possible by establishing the payment plan.  We called **************** to discuss this and his mailbox was full.  We emailed **************** and let him know we could try to lower the amount.  While we were in the process of trying to lower the payment plan, **************** did not file his 2023 income tax return in April.  He did not hire us to complete this return, so this was outside of our control.  **************** did not make payments to his *** payment plan, and it could not be renegotiated because of his filing compliance.  As a result of non-filing of 2023 taxes his agreement defaulted.  Neither *** or the *** will negotiate with us when a return is missing.  **************** is responsible for the delay in his case, but is seeking to blame Capstone.
