I purchased TripAssure travel insurance for my family. My trip got cancelled due to covid and I was assured I would get my money back from TripAssure. I requested a full refund of $868.00 on March 24th, 2021. My plan number is R775 and my Enrollment number is XXXXXXX. On March 25th, 2021, I received an email stating that I would receive a paper check in the mail in 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks I reached out again and their response was that it was taking longer than they expected and would reach out to me when they had more information. That was April 25th, 2021. Yesterday, May 6th I reached out again with no response. I am requesting my $868.00 refund.Business response

Trip Mate, Inc., is the claims administrator for Plan R775 that includes short-term travel insurance benefits underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company, and we appreciate this opportunity to address **** ******'s concerns. The customer expressed concerns with respect to the outcome or status of the claim. In reviewing this matter, our records indicate the customer reached out to our office requesting a refund of the travel protection premium as their trip was cancelled. To this end, the customer was found to be eligible for reimbursement of the travel protect plan premium and the customer's payments were sent via USPS on May 11, 2021 in the amount of $868.
