I purchased my son 4 shirts from Riot Society's website and as you will see in my attachment, it clearly stated on the check out page, under my cart of the items I ended up purchasing, that returns were accepted and actually lists their 14 day return policy as a reason as to why I should choose to use their company. No where does it state on this page or my receipt that sales items may be an exception to the return policy, or I would not have purchase the shirts as my son is an XXL and certain brands run tight, so I knew there was a good chance these may not work out, which is what happened. From what I see they do not even offer a size higher than XXL for us to exchange or choose anyway, if I even wanted to. I was shocked when I began the return process (within the 14 day window they state you must do it in) and was told I cannot do this return as all sales items are final! If that is the case, then why did it clearly FALSELY advertise that I could return these on my check out page within 14 days as shown in the document I have attached? It is ethically and morally wrong, not to mention illegal, to mislead customers this way and when I questioned this I was told that it is listed in the FAQ section. So I guess I should have known to ignore their huge section under the items in my cart that said choose use because the 14 day return policy and then I should have known to go read the FAQS for fun, I guess, to find out about the hidden secret real return policy. That is absurd! I hope this can be resolved because otherwise I plan on seeking other representation regarding this because I know that it is not allowed to falsely advertise in this manner and will also be filing many other complaints if this is not resolved as well. I would like to return the items for a full refund. Please see attachments for proof and also the conversation chat history regarding this matter. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/30) */ To whom it may concern, according to our records, our customer service representative, ******, has given the customer a full refund on February 15, 2022. Riot Society does not falsely advertise Final Sale on all Sale Items (please view the images attached). Each Sale Item that is on the website states "All sale items are final sale." By clicking the link, you will be transferred to our FAQ's where it also states "All sale items are final sale." Thank you so much for your time. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/04/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I do accept the closure of this complaint and am satisfied with the outcome considering I was issued a refund. That being said, I still disagree with the way it is presented to the customers and feel it is very misleading how they have their return policy rules and guidelines. I won't be shopping at this company again but am thankful to receive my refund and thank you bbb for your help in this matter.Initial Complaint

No phone number for customer support no live person in the apparent live chat, so it doesn't actually answer your concern or question to reach any degree of resolution company gave a ups tracking number that does not existBusiness response

However, our chat box is automatic, and a ticket was raised regarding this matter. Our system did not recognize the tracking number, **********************. This tracking number is for ****. Therefore, the ticket could not be created. However, according to this link with the tracking number with ****, https://tools.***********************************************************, the order was delivered in a timely matter, December 6th, 2021. This package was shipped via **** First Class Mail International to ******. Please note that international shipping costs are much higher than domestic. Thank you for your time.
