Purchased a motorcycle in april of 2020. Post purchase, I received an incorrect registration documentation from the dmv which was caused by an input error by Suzuki of van nuys. I provided back the pink slip for them to resolve and have followed up 5 different times. The issue is still not resolved and I no longer even have the pink slip. I did speak with Mark approximately 8 months ago who said it would be completed shortly and it never happened and now all communication has gone silent regardless of my messages. It will cost me $60 to acquire a new pink slip and registration since it is incorrect is substantially higher than it should be since it is registered as street vehicle rather than an off road. After this many attempts, this organization is blatantly ignoring my request. I have purchased many vehicles and left a great review. This just needs to be fixed so we can move on.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/01/20) */ Customer did provide the pink slip a year later after several attempts to try and resolve this matter. Customer was also informed that we will need the pink slip and license plates sent to him or DMV will not re-issue pink slip. Customer told us he lost the license plates and never provided to the shop. We are not responsible for pink slip and license plates sent to customer's house. Customer was informed without the license plates in our possession we cannot make any changes and all changes need to be done by him at the DMV because the pink slip and license plates that were issued to the customer were not together. The responsibility of the license plates and pink slips to be returned to the dealership together is the customers responsibility therefore we have our hands tide on what we can do. This information was sent to the customer several times. Customer only provided the pink slip a year later after purchasing another motorcycle from Suzuki of Van Nuys. Again we cannot bypass the laws of the DMV. WE HAVE LET HIM KNOW IN SEVERAL FORMS OF COMMUNICATION THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES WILL NOT ISSUE A NEW PINK SLIP IF THOSE LICENSE PLATES ARE NOT TURNED IN WITH THE INCORRECT PINK SLIP. THE FACT THAT THE CUSTOMER LOST THEM IS 100 PERCENT NOT OUR REPSONSIBILITY.
