      I purchase a vehicle on 7/11/2019 from Will Tiesiera Ford in Tulare, ca. During the test drive the person (*****, *****) taking me on the drive in whom was driving the vehicle, noticed that the vehicle had something wrong with it. All of the lights on the dash had lit up and they told me the would fix the issue and i agreed to buy the vehicle under the conditions that they took care of the issue. They did some work to the vehicle replacing the engine block. I was returned the vehicle on 12/09/2019 and it was returned to a chevy dealership on 6/14/2021 at the request of Will Tiersiera Ford to be checked out due to check engine light coming back on. The Vehicle was repaired and returned to me on 6/16/21. i had the vehicle up until the date of 01/04/2022. The check engine light came on yet again, and the vehicle was towed to the same chevy dealer for repair at the request of Will Tiesiera Ford. They found the same thing wrong with the vehicle and Will Tiesiera Ford then had the vehicle towed to thier dealership to fix the issue. It is now 6/15/2022 and Will Tieseira Ford is telling me they are sending a tow truck to pick up thier loaner vehicle after i said i was calling BBB and that they want permission to sell my vehicle at auction because they are now unable to fix it due to parts being discontinued and no longer available. I do not agree with this. I would like my money returned to me or an exchange for a vehicle comprarable to the amount that i paid. I have all documentation.

      We are not buying your car back or doing a refund.  Our proposal is to send your vehicle to an online auction we use, with your approval.  We would set the line or minimum bid high, to then see what the vehicle will bring value wise and then would go over that number with you.  We would never sell your vehicle without your approval, and we simply want to maximize the value for you.  We think this is the best way to maximize its value and take any guess work out of it.  If it does well and you are happy with that number, we would sell it at the auction and give you the proceeds, less any payoff or bank lien.  If we have another vehicle in stock that is of interest, we would be happy to discuss that with you as well and we will be more than fair on the pricing.  Please reach out to ***** *********, our service manager, at ###-###-#### to approve our proposal.

       I am rejecting this response because: This vehicle was purchased under the condition that it would have been fixed and taken care of by the dealership. I have had nothing but issue with the vehicle and the vehicle has spent many many months under thier care to be fixed. They have not kept up to thier end of the deal and fixed the vehicle like they were supposed to. It is in no way my fault that they took advantage of a senior citizen by selling me a lemon. They should be responsible for fixing the vehicle and if they are not able to fix it then they should be responsible for refunding the money or giving me another vehicle that is equal to the value of the amount that i paid for the vehicle. This is a burden on me and my finances. I am in contact with an attourney as well being that the dealership is in no way trying to work with me. Selling the vehicle at auction will not even get me close to what i paid for the vehicle due to the fact that the engine is blown and barely runs. No one is going to pay the 21,000+ dollars i paid for the vehicle with it having a blown engine. I appreciate all help provided by the BBB.

      On January 7 2022, I went online to order running boards for my Ford Ranger through Will Tiesiera Ford in Tulare, Ca. and spoke with *** who had ordered them for me and stated they would arrive by Friday, 14 January 2022. According to their website they charge $50.00 for labor or to have installed, I advised *** I would like the install labor service as well, he OK'd it. On 13 January 2022 (11:30am) Will Tiesiera Ford (***, the caller) phoned me to let me know the running boards have arrived and would transfer me to Sales, but when I spoke with Sales they wanted to charge me $350.00 to have them installed. I advised them it was on their own website to have charged $50.00 for the labor to have installed. He stated he wouldn't check his own website to find out as if I'm lying but to instead have me show proof on "his" website by printing the amount of $50.00 for labor, as if he didn't believe me! And then wouldn't even bother to check his own website to see the proof. To me, that's very lazy and unprofessional to not do his job correctly! I have not paid for the running boards yet because they are still at the Ford dealership. I did not sign for anything since it was a phone order, therefore I will not be buying these running boards until they honor the $50.00 for the labor. I refuse to do this salesperson's job if he can't do it himself! I didn't realize people can be that lazy, wow.

      This is the response I received from the business at 4:15pm, 14 Jan 2022:

           I saw your complaint through the Better Business Bureau today.  I messed something up on the BBB Portal, to where I cannot respond on their platform.  That is why I am reaching out to you direct.  We have nothing on our website quoting our labor rates for repairs or parts pricing at www.willtiesieraford.com.  We assume you were on a Ford Motor Company site related to accessories.  It is probably a Ford Program, but one we are not signed up for.  I do apologize for our staff not clarifying the $350 labor charge vs. the $50 labor charge you saw on a Ford website, but again, it was not our website. 

           No excuses, our staff member could have been more accommodating with you and should have gotten his or her manager involved immediately, and for that I apologize.  Our normal labor rate is $150 per hour, and installing running boards is a 2-2.5 hour job which would normally run $300-350.  We are happy to do the job for $150, but not the $50.  Again, I apologize for any confusion and for our staff member not doing the greatest job.  Please let me know how you would like to proceed and we/I will accommodate you the best we can.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I will not pay $150.00 as a "price resolution". Therefore, I will not be doing business with this company again. Not my fault their business has a bunch of mistakes and screw-ups. I wouldn't have done business through them if that were the case.  I understand nobody's perfect, but I still will not pay the $150.00 service fee, and I will not be purchasing the running boards. I can install these on my own vehicle myself if I have to within 15-20 minutes, but unable to due to shoulder injury I sustained in Baghdad while serving for the U.S. Army. I will look elsewhere for running boards, but not through Ford.
