On 7/29/23, I submitted my application along with my application (Quote #******) fee to Branch Creek. My payment was to guarantee the holding of the apartment for 48 hours. On the same day, I received an email from them saying that everyone involved (co-applicant and guarantor) had completed signing the necessary documents. As of 7/31/23 at 6:41am I can prove that everyone had without a doubt done so. There was no further option to continue with the leasing process, as it was updated that day to show the unit was no longer available. They charged my account on 8/1/23 for the total application fee of $162.50, which was after the unit in question was no longer available. The management team at Branch Creek told my co-applicant via phone that they would not discuss a refund for not holding the apartment. I have called them twice, on 8/1/2023 around 3pm and again on 8/2/2023 around 2pm, with no response. I left a message both times. They have yet to contact to me to discuss in more detail where the issue occurred.Initial Complaint

This company ESPECIALLY corporate refuses to call you back and communicate. I have times and dates wrote down when Ive called them months apart and still no contact. I have an original paper of what I owe them. A conversation recorded of what they was going to fix and when they sent me an updated document of whats owed they charged me extra. They knew they charged me extra and I spoke to a person in corporate office one time. I was waiting on a call back to discuss and then fixing but NO they went straight to collections and straight to my credit. This company is wrong, they dont communicate. Their staff name ***** also done some illegal stuff for me by forwarding his name on documents so I can get rent relief and their company can get paid. But he forgot about that and now I want to *** them. For emotional distress and for what they are doing with this bill on my credit. Looks like I was charged with pet fee for the carpet and my pet never lived there passed a week because she died. So how am I charged for a pet that didnt move around and stayed in a kennel or go outside because she was sick??They will be hearing from my lawyers.Initial Complaint

I moved here from out of state and since I moved in my unit back in July 2022 I've had problems. My carpet was dirty and damaged upon move in. They weren't going to replace it until i told them i was going to report to their regional manager. A/C wasn't working properly when i moved in. Marking work orders complete when they weren't completed. I've had a roach issue since I've moved in and still do til this day. They've been all over my house mainly in my kitchen and even found one in my refrigerator. I've reported this roach issue to the office and I've reported it to their regional manager. Only thing they can keep telling me is they will put me down for pest control to come out. Even when reaching out to the regional manager several times regarding this ongoing issue, they are not responding to emails, not returning phones calls after voicemails are left. It's like they don't care about their tenants or to get this issue resolved. They are only sending pest control to my unit every TWO WEEKS ( giving the roaches ample amount of time to infest my house). Office managers told me if i wanted pest control to come more often i would have to pay for it. The last time pest control was scheduled to come out they knocked on my door but didn't enter my unit because according to the assistant manager they didn't have a key to enter my unit but never had an issue entering my unit any other time pest control has come out or for maintenance. This has been a very unpleasant transition into a place i am supposed to call home having all these problems and a roach problem at that!!!!!Initial Complaint

Please , whatever you do never rent from this company. I applied for an apartment , got approved paid the fees including the $250 deposit.********** had to take a job out of state so we had decided not to take the apartment. I contacted both the assistant manager ***** and the "director of the community" ***** who refused to provide any other information outside of the fact that he had authority not to give my deposit back and that he wont give it back. I then asked for that information in writing stating that and he refused to provide anything . I then contacted his superior ***** who is the regional manager and she hasn't even responded, her assistant told me she saw it but refused to address it. It's been 3 weeks. I also have a relative who lives at the complex and has a roach problem that they refuse to treat and address . She has reached out to the Regional Manager several times without a response as well. This apartment complex does not care about their tenants at all and are very money hungry . The company itself handles things in such an unprofessional way .
