Republic Trash Services - **** ** *********, Independence, MO 64052 Coast To Coast Financial Solutions - *** ********* *** *** *** Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 Cancelled Republic Services first week of Feb 2023 for non-service, rude CS and no credit for services not received. Received bill, told it was for pickup/cleaning/repair of container which we never ordered but told had to be used because of new truck lifts. Contacted them several times with no resolution. Now it is 01/08/2024 and container is still here. Received notice from Coast To Coast debt collection. Did everything they required. Sent letter end of Aug explaining our point of no debt owed. No response or acknowledgement. Received another letter and decided to give in to the extortion and sent check payment $22.07. Received yet another letter, cancelled first check and sent second check $22.17 with another letter. Both times sent check in provided envelope & payment stub. Check has not yet been cashed. Called 12/20 spoke to J***** and 1/5 spoke to J***** again. She says they have never received any correspondence or payment from us. Wanted me to pay by credit card but I refused because this feels so like a scam. They are threatening to ruin our credit and don't know what to do at this point. We have done everything required. Please help!

The account was assigned to us by Republic Services #468 on 8/21/2023 in the amount of $22.07. When we received the customers complaint we forward onto our Client to confirm how we should proceed with the account. It did take some time for our Client to confirm whether the amount is owed or not. I did recieve confirmation as of yesterday that the account was placed in error. The account has been updated as a recall and was not credit reported.

I have received mailings from this company claiming I owe $50.24 to Republic Services trash removal. I contacted Republic and they have no record of a delinquency. The account number on the attached bill is invalid. AAA Recycling is no longer in business and was bought by Republic. I see others have had this same issue.Business response

The account was placed by Republic Services #803 also known as AAA Recycling & Trash on 9/14/2023 in the amount of $50.24. On 10/20/2023 we received notification that the customer paid in full. i have received several letters from Coast to Coast Financial Solutions requesting $28.37 (1185802 Account #) on behalf of Republic Services. On the first letter I received I contacted Republic Services about the collections and they did not recognize this bill and said that i am and always have been current on my account ( since it is on auto pay for last 6 years).Business response

The account was assigned to us by Republic Services #620 on 4/4/2023 in the amount of $28.32. We have followed up with our Client and they have confirmed the account was placed in error. The account is updated as a recall and no further collection attempts will be made.
