My dog was taken to Rosemarie Pet Hospital on 1-9-22, for a persistent cough she had. They told me she needed to be tested right away for infection, they wanted blood work, urinalysis, and an x-ray. Due to the cost, I opted to do the urinalysis and blood work only to see how it came back. They told me she needed to get a shot for infection just to get a jump start in case she does have an infection, so I agreed to it. The visit was on a Sunday and they said by the following Tuesday, January 11th we would have the results and what the next steps are. I asked how vital the lab work was and they made it seem like my pet could die so I went with it. Tuesday I never received a call so I followed up with them and they said try tomorrow the 12th. I called on the 12th and they said they were busy but the vet would call me later that evening at 5 pm. No phone call came so I called again on friday the 14th, again I was told they would call after 5 pm. I never received a call so I called the next day on Saturday the 15th, I explained that I had called several times and got no answers, the male receptionist that answered cut me off and got loud and said they were busy due to COVID and that I needed to be patient. I told him it was almost a week since I brought my dog in and was told she could be dying and I didn't want to wait for her to die but be proactive on a treatment plan. He repeated himself and hung up, so again I waited for a call that night and nothing. I called again on Sunday the 16th, and every Monday after until Feb. 1st. My dog at this point is alive and I still have no results from them, I am not sure if they just lied to scare me into doing the lab work or not. If there is indeed something wrong with my dog it has almost been a month and whatever damage to her body has already taken place. I would like a full refund of $581.00 which I put on Care Credit. They showed blatant disregard for my pet and caused me emotional distress thinking my pet was dying.
