      Hello, MATAGE Cadillac of Stockton is very unprofessional. I purchased a car 12/29/22 a white ***** accord. The sales manager, and sales rep. **************** *************************** made the purchase of a vehicle the worst i have ever experience. I am being requested to take the car back to the lot and cancel the contract. No solution or help was ever provided from any MATAGA employee. I traded in a vehicle with the purchase. Now they are saying they dont know how they will issue me a refund for my trade in vehicle. Now i am left with no car, no refund from my trade in plus my down payment that i also I gave. I feel like i am being singled out and from the beginning felt like no one wanted to sell me a car. They were not helpful. I do not want to do business with them. My main concern is i want my refund from my trade in vehicle which i sold to MATAGE for almost ****** and gave a ***** down payment. The loan that they wanted me to get and not negotiate nor help find a solution : was 17 percent and 310 monthly payment for 72 month. I am not a first time car buyer. I gave about ***** in downpayment. They gave me the car 12/29 let me walk out the dealer with it now 1/20 i am being told to return the car. My credit was ran 2 times and my credit score lowered 40 points for nothing. I am requesting for my credit to be fixed (hard inquires) For the full refund of my trade in vehicle. For compensation for my time being wasted at the dealer ship being laughed at, not helped, discriminated. A full investigation of my car purchase. Employees of MATAGA are sketchy and unprofessional.

      We have fully investigated this concern and it seems that the bank was unable to verify items needed to fund the loan. We did issue a refund of the $2000 down payment and at the request of the customer we refunded the difference between the payoff amount and what we allowed them for their trade in, which was $5900. This was resolved in January of 2023, but we wanted to respond to this forum since we were recently made aware of the concern made on this site. Thank you.
