If I could give this company a negative star review I would. Purchased this insurance to cover 2 back to back tours in *****( 1 month vacation). I fell and broke several bones halfway through our month long vacation so came home early. Allianz was great at getting us home on the plane but once we were home everthing changed. There website only uploads information in small amount. When you call you go through a call center and my call was dropped usually twice before I was connected to a person working on my claim. I uploaded receipts. I was told that was not enough, so we uploaded credit card statements showing the charges and bank statement showing we paid the credit card ****. I had an email from the tour company telling me my $$ for the second tour was non-refundable since we cancelled 3 days before the tour started. I also uploaded the tour company information on cancellation and reimbursement for $$ paid. That was not enough, I had to get a separate email from the tour company saying I was refunded no money and would not receive a refund. They also wanted terms and conditions from British Air about our return flight, and tickets we had purchased for several museums. Allianz paid my medical bill but then somehow gave me a new claim number for the trip insurance and applied it to a trip to ****** I had insured with Allianz 5 months earlier. Finally went to AAA and the supervisor called Allianz. They wanted me to reupload the my information I had uploaded 3 times in one month on the original claim # and then write them an email stating what I wanted to be reimbursed. Luckily I was called back within 18 hours of AAA calling Allianz. Spoke with ******** how said" Everything is there, you have provided all the informaiton you need and do not need to do anything." 24 hours later they cut a check to pay me. You only find info from them by checking their website. Then NEVER called except after AAA called them for me. ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!Review from Susan S

I purchased this insurance since they advertise the peace of mind thing etc ...through American Airlines. I had to change my dates for an earlier return date. I called and talked to a customer rep and said they will cover it, so I was happy with that. They told me they have done everything on their end so American can reimburse me. Later, I found out it was a lie. I called today and told me that they cannot refund me. Also, I requested my money back for the money I paid for the insurance, but *******'s supervisor from Allianz told me the time has passed, and it was too late to get a reimbursement. If they were not lying to me all this time I would have been within the time frame. This company is not trustworthy and I think is a SCAM. DO NOT BUY!! is not worth it. If there is a negative star review, I will give it to this insurance company. We purchased travel insurance via AAA from this company for our 14 day cruise ti Europe with flights included. On our way back to ***********, our baggage was delayed at **********************, *** and we missed the flight. Some passengers ** the gate have shared their experience about delayed baggages and missed flight and none of them has purchased any travel insurance and get reimbursement from the airline for the negative experience they had and we had a travel insurance and our experience got worse. Not only they keep giving ** a round around about and keep asking for documents, they did not want to reimburse us. We missed our flight because of our baggages that were not loaded in the conveyer upon our arrival to *** and the rebooked flight for more than an hour later was also delayed fro another hour. We landed in *********** past 10pm without our luggages. We claimed it at *** as how we were instructed at ******* *** airport. Our baggages were not delivered until 9pm of the next day. I also missed a couple of days work. One of the luggages were also damaged. None of these were taken care of Allianz. My advice, do not use this travel insurance and this company should be put out of business. They aggravated the situation that was already unpleasantReview from LaTonya H

On August 11, 2021 I purchased tickets and insurance online for the Dave Chappell show at The Fillmore in Detroit, MI. on August 13, 2021 because the box office was closed due to Covid-19. The venue's Covid guidelines was that the patron had to be tested and deemed negative 72 hours prior to the event or have proof of being fully vaccinated. On the day of the event, we arrived at 6:15pm (concert started at 7pm) nd was told that the concert promoters required a rapid Covid test prior to entry. I explained to the usher that we were fully vaccinated and that we had proof, however, the usher stated we still had to go have the rapid test done. Because there were multiple events going on in Downtown Detroit that day, parking was horrible. We had a parking space and did not want to lose it so we opted to walk to the testing site which was four blocks away. We arrived at the testing site 6:35pm and the testing site was closed!!!! The testing site closed before the concert even started! We walked back to the venue and advised the usher that the testing site was closed. He stated that we could not come in nd he did not honor our tickets! On 8/14/2021, I sent Ticketmaster an email requesting a refund and I still have yet to received my refund in the amount of $413.00. I also requested a refund through Allianz since I purchased the insurance nd they advised me that my reason for my refund request was denied!!!! It is clearly not my fault that the testing site was closed prior to the concert and it" not my fault that upon purchase of the tickets it was not told to me by Ticketmaster that the promoters required a rapid Covid test until we actually arrived at the venue, I am requesting a full refund and after almost three months with no reply, I expect to get it. Since I filed my claim, August 14, 2021, I received a claim denial on 10/21/2021 from Allianz stating it was "unforeseen circumstances." I spoke with supervisor, Louie that same day I received the claim denial and he was extremely RUDE, which resulted in me becoming IRATE! I need help with getting my money back from with Allianz Group or Ticketmaster.
