I ordered Hairprint to try, and I had looked inside the box when it arrived. I became very nervous to try this product after reading the complicated directions. I only opened the box, nothing inside of it. I decided to return the product. Upon filling out the form to do so, I noted that I would only be refunded $24.00. I paid $38.80 for this product plus $8.50 shipping. To be refunded nearly only half of what I paid is very dissapointing. The return page, which is through Affirm, stated that the company would "review my request."Turns out, I won't be able to return it anyway: I went to do more research and read on the Hairprint website that "Products that are cosmetically flawed/damaged, opened (this includes opening the sealing sticker of a Hairprint Kit box), used, or in any other condition that disqualifies them from being able to be resold are not eligible for a refund." Wow! It also states that "Any and all items returned to Hairprint may be subject to a 10% restocking fee." Aside from the claims that this product "heals your hair," they have a very sketchy returns policy. Buyer beware. I still want my refund.Review from Sandra G

I purchased the Hairprint Color Plus for stubborn grays and it did not work on my natural dark hair. I only wanted to cover a small amount of gray hair on my temples and this product did not do a thing to my hair. DO NOT BUY this product as it is ineffective, expensive and tedious.Review from Patti J

I ordered Hairprint products Oct 31 2022. I have been given the run around. Finally I told them just to refund my money. Now I am getting told it has been refunded. Nothing on my end.Review from Jemima S

I followed the directions in the video and i covered the previously colored portions of hair with **** butter. I then put the prepare shampoo on. I then flipped my head over and rinsed it with hot water under the tub tap. The **** butter moved down to the root thusly making hairprint not work. I emailed the company and they want me to buy replacement items even though I followed the video instructions. I am not pleased with this conpany- so far the company has provided zero meaningful customer service. They should alter their directions they made it seem like *************** wont move with rinse out but assuredly it will when hot water and gravity are involved!Review from T. M

I wish I had read these reviews before trying hair print. I tried it a few years ago and, of course, stayed on the band wagon because the alternative was to either mess my hair up totally by using a traditional dye or grow my roots out. I echo what some of the others have said: I had black mess all over the bathroom that was hard to clean up and dry brittle hair. Some things that others have not said: (1) they only have one type of melanin pigment (black). Yes, you can buy the product that has a lot of black melanin or a little black melanin. But unless you naturally had black hair in your younger days, your hair will NEVER look like it's natural non-gray color with this product. It will eventually turn your hair black. Many brunettes have red melanin in our hair in addition to the black melanin. And this product does not have red melanin. (2) Depending on your hair texture, you will, eventually look like someone from the Munsters. Not only will your hair turn black, but the product dries your hair out so much that it starts breaking off. When I tried pulling my hair back into a pony tail, all the broken ends stuck out around my forehead. It was a mess. This morning, I was washing my (now salt-and-pepper again) hair and loving how soft and pliable it has become since I stopped using Hairprint. I'm just so glad I stopped. If you landed on this page because you thinking of trying Hairprint, DON'T DO IT!Review from Tanya C.

Ive been using this for 5 years now and have seen the dye very watery and messy, splashing literally all over the bathroom. Finally I got comfortable doing it without a mirror, got bottles to squirt it onto my hair with the shower curtain closed, and that helped a lot. Tricky though because it didnt all fit in one large bottle, so I had to mix it and then pour it into 2 bottles after it stopped expanding in volume. I like the results and really appreciate that it doesnt damage my hair like other natural dyes, but I always put off doing it because of the mess and time involved. The last time I used it, the formulation is now thick enough to apply with my hands, not splashy, and just as effective, if not more so. Much better! I use their shampoos and conditioner and dont shampoo every day, so the cost is okay over time. I also use their oils on my hair sometimes before shampooing.Review from Carole H

What an incredible product! It took me a couple of applications to get the hang of it but it's amazing. The first time I used it I got about 85% coverage but now I get about 95%. If I wanted 100% coverage I'd go back to conventional dye. But with my health issues I don't mind sacrificing a few grays. It's really important to take their recommendations and follow instructions. I don't know what all the dry hair talk is about. Mine has so much more body after using it. Who knows what people do to their hair. I'm happy I found this product!Review from Michel

Hair Print should advice people to also do the hair strand test as all chemicals hair dyes and not just say that is super safe that you can even eat it but guess as all greedy business money come first and the safety of people come next. When I contacted the company to complain about the hair loss I experienced using this product they basically said it is a try and faild type of thing., for some people worked fine but others do not so good luck. Sorry for your hair lost.. I have used hair dyes and even bleach for years and had more hair loss in a week with hair print that with chemicals that you guys criticized so much. So I dont know whats the super natural super safe part you claim about it. This company should do more research of the negative effects of using a super alkaline agent straight to your hair as baking soda.. being a 8.3 PH vers a 4.5 to 5.0 PH of the hair scalp.. even nature if is not use in a smart way can cause damage too and proved with this product.. dont know how long will take to restore my hair. Beside being a super very long complicated messy process the grey coverage doesnt do a good job and its visible as little as 2 weeks after its used. Plus the hair loss.Review from Sharmayne T.

My hair texture is fine, not thin, but fine and I have used only organic sulfate-free products on it for years. I have minimal graying around the temples that I wanted to cover and I heard great things about Hairprint being nontoxic and making hair even healthier and covering grays. Before I used Hair print, my hair was silky and nourished. After one treatment, the entire bottom third (about 2-3") of my hair is brittle, breaking off, and drier than I've ever thought possible. Beyond dry. Dead. I noticed during the rinse that I lost some hair but didn't realize the extent of the damage until it dried. So much breakage. The product blended a few of my grays but at the price of my formerly healthy and lustrous hair. The company needs to acknowledge this as a real side effect. So many people have had this problem. I would rather have grays had I known the damage this would do, not to mention the ruinous stains in the bathroom. They need to refund those of us who now have to spend time and money repairing their damage.Review from Natalie C

I've used this for a while and it was good at beginning, but now doesn't last long. They want you to do ANOTHER application to fully remove grey. Yes, shampoos and other products are overpriced. But what gets me is that there is no way to speak to anyone. **************** is bad. I DID put in an email and never got a response. Has potential, but they DID have a phone number before. Such a shame that companies are so disconnected from their customers.
