I'd like to start out by saying that when calling around for cost of Botox in and around the ************** area, North ************************************** seemed to be most affordable at $10.00 per unit. However, it was more like bait and switch as when I arrived for my scheduled appointment, Botox turned out to be $15.50 per unit and what was actually $10.00 was Xeomin, which I knew nothing about. After listening to the benefits (no additional proteins added) I decided to go ahead with the injections. However, when ***** (the RN) injected me with the product, the product Botox, which was normally clear, this "Xeomin" was brownish liquid with little crystal-like flakes in the syringe. Not knowing anything about Xeomin, I didn't say too much about it, but that night as well as every night for a 1 week, my face felt heavy and I had headaches which I never had gotten before. I called and went into the office (after waiting 2 weeks from when the injections were given) where I met with ***** and ******* (the owner, who says she's been doing this for 23 years) and stressed that the lot (of the product) was not bad and that Xeomin was clear as is Botox. I'm not crazy nor is my eyesight bad and my health is good, so why would I make this up???At any rate, the procedure of the injections didn't take on my face (after giving me 45 units) so they suggested another 40 or so, which I still would have to pay for. I told them I wanted Botox as I knew I never had any side effects from Botox but it would be a great deal more money so I decided to wait til whatever was injected "Xeomin" would disappear. I went in yesterday 4/7/22 to show ******* my face which obviously had a ton more wrinkles and my filler (PMAA which is suppose to last more that a few years) in my face disappeared so I believe whatever was injected and gave me headaches and heaviness counter acted the product already in my face....even though it's said these "fillers and Botox injections" only last a couple of months.
