Purchased 4 Yokohama tires and was to receive a $100 rebate. The rebate took many months to receive as it had been lost in the mail. After I received it, moved and it was lost in the chaos. It was found 2-29-24. When I called for a replacement card, I was *********** was passed expiration of 12-31-23 and nothing could be done. $100 may not be much to you, but it is a LOT to me. I'm just asking to have it reissued/re-activated so I can pay a bill.

October 3, 2023, I purchased 4 Yokohama Geolandar G015 tires from Dipstick's Tire in ****** *** I sent in the submission for the advertised rebate *** ******* Yokohama Fall Rebate), along with the receipt, and waited until January 1, 2024 to check on the rebate status (claim ID ********). The link provided by Yokohama no longer worked, so I typed in "rapid-rebates.com" manually and filled out the form. Yokohama stated that the rebate would not be honored because "required product not purchased". This is the SECOND time Yokohama has refused to honor a rebate when I have purchased their tires. We have six vehicles, 4 with Yokohama tires and 2 with Michelins. Michneli is starting to look like a great replacement in the future.

I apologize for the inconvenience. After reviewing the document you sent over it appears it may have initially been denied due to the tire size/tread pattern being cut off on the invoice. Can you please send over the complete tire size and tread name purchased? Or, if it is easier, a picture of the sidewall of your tire with the complete DOT visible would be sufficient. After that is received, as long as they are qualifying tires, I'd be happy to send out a rebate card to your address.

It was 12/28/2022 when I replaced all 4 factory tires on my 2021 Camry TRD for Yokohama tires. Well that was the biggest mistake I made putting yokohama tires on my vehicle i started hearing a loud roead noise on my car and i figureit will go away so i didn't pay to much attention to the noise, so when i mentionedit to the landers Toyota nwa in Rogers, they said they couldn't do anything for me because it had ti be done before the 30 days mark, so I decided to call yokohama my self and called ************* and talk to a *******. And guess what? She said the same thing that they couldn't do anything for me!! Really really!! After I spend $1200 on tires they can't do anything for a customer really?? I called that a ripped off , telling customers those are the best tires and they can't guarantee them. They a freaking joke that is what they are.. I will make sure every family member and friends don't ever buy a yokohama tire wver again.

      Hi ********,

We are always concerned when we learn that we have failed to exceed a customer's expectations with regards to our product or service.

When properly maintained, tires will sustain acceptable ride quality and noise levels as they wear. When tire wear is uneven a vibration and/or noise may occur. Previous impacts and road hazard damages can also cause delayed noise and vibration, that eventually can become tire failures. Additionally, worn out suspensions and brake parts can also cause a vibration/noise.

Unfortunately, based on the remaining tread depths of your tires and the lack of rotations, they would not fall within the warranty parameters for our Ride Quality policy. For your reference, I have attached a copy of our Standard Limited Warranty Brochure.

my vehicle has had all its maintenance/tire rotation done every 5000 miles at the same place where I bought my vehicle, and we have records of all those services. You can contact Landers Toyota NWA in Rogers Arkansas and talk to the tires representative his name is ***** or better still call ************ and ask for Shawn ***** service manager, he van provide all the information you need regarding the services and maintenance on my vehicle.  I WANT MY REFUND OR ELSE.

      Hi ********,

I called Toyota and spoke with ***** to review the details of your case. Although your tires do not fall within the warranty parameters, we would like to extend a 50% Goodwill gesture offer for each of your 4 tires. ***** has the information needed to process your claim and extend the appropriate credit amount towards your next set of Yokohama tires after you bring your current tires back in to them.

I bought a new 2021 ****** WRX STI vehicle with Yokohama Advank Sports tires size 245/35 R19. I have taken very good care of the car, tires rotated every 5k, alignment checked by ********* who does my oil change. Tires never over or under inflated. Car never wrecked therefore frame not an issue. The issue that when I last took this car to ********* the representative informed me that I need or would very soon need new tires. She stated that the tires, all 4 of them had very bad wear of tread on outside of each tire. I verified what she said and noted that the inner portion of the tires, all 4 had plenty of tread left but I am going to have to buy 4 new tires because the wear is so significant that if I keep driving the car it will be a safety issue. This car only has ****** miles registered on the odometer. These tires should last a minimum of ****** miles. ****** with this issue affecting all tires it is a tire manufacturing problem. I called Yokohama with their customer service number but was informed by the representative that this problem would be caused by the things I wrote about that did not apply. She basically blew me off with no attempt to help. I cannot afford at this time to buy 4 new tires to replace these defective ones. I have to drive the car regularly so the wear will increase. If I crash and a determination is the tires were responsible I want a record left for survivors to have a basis for a law suit if necessary. These tires are defective or they would not all 4 be wearing on the outside of each tire.

      Hi ******,

We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with the mileage received on your tires. We understand this can be frustrating. One sided shoulder wear is determined by the following factors:

Misalignment - front and/or rear (ex: toe or camber)
      Loose/worn suspension components
      Hard cornering
      Improper tire rotation practices
      Misapplication
      High crown roads
      Non-uniform Mounting

May I have the name and phone number for the representative that inspected your tires at ********** I would be happy to give them a call and obtain the results to see if there is anything we can do to assist.

Bought a new ****** car and had a defective tire with a bubble in the side from day one and obviously tires are not covered under the warranty. The tire pressure light would go on every day and they said it was because of the cold weather, however, when I took it to the dealership to get it checked, they showed me the issue with the tire. Therefore, I am looking for a refund in the amount of $225 that I had to pay for the new tire.

I had purchased 4 yokohama AVID Ascend GT tires with 65K miles warranty at 51K miles on the car. I also purchased a road hazard warranty & after 9k miles oas well. &ne tire was replaced due to nail in tire. These came with TPMS & also did an alignment. Since I had tire rotation free, I was did tire rotations every 5k miles, a few times while travelling it was probably +/**** miles. *** no tire rotation was missed. After driving for a few years the tires started to show treadwear issue on both the sides but middle looked ok. I kept bringing this to dealer's attention but they kept telling me the tire is fine, Yokohama will deny credit to new tires b/c treadwear depth is measured at the center of the tire width. So I kept on driving it but did bring it to Yokohama's attention in April of 2023. Yokohama said, ask you dealer to file a claim, we do not deal with customers. So, finally now in fall of 2023 when the car had 109K miles, I felt unsafe to drive with the tires, took them off and asked dealer to file a claim. They filed a claim# ***** & said, Yokohama denied the claim saying I drove the car tires underinflated! This is absurd b/c it has TPMS and anytime in the winter the light would come on, I'd put 34psi in all the tires. The dealer always put 32 psi. I was shocked when they said I drove it underinflated. I also did an alignment recently & it has not changed much according to dealer. When I contacted the dealer back, they said, they didn't agree with Yokohama but just said "it could be one of the reasons" why tire treads wore on both sides compared to the middle. I do not appreciate that Yokohama finds some absurd things to deny some credit from the warranty by blaming customer that I was driving it under-inflated. I want credit for 3 tires with (99K miles when I complained to dealer 1st-51K) 17k miles and 1 tire with 17k+9K (replaced 9k later compared to other 3)= 26k miles that can be used at the dealership for future oil change or as **** card.

We purchased 4 Yokohama tires in November 2022 and paid $1100. In May 2023, we took the car in for inspection and the car failed because the tire treads were worn on 2 of the tires. We immediately took it to our local Infiniti dealer where we had purchased the tires, and they filed a warranty claim. It is now August and the dealer FINALLY heard back from the company after months and months of trying to get someone to respond to them. Yokohama denied the warranty claim and tried to tell us that the tread wearing was due to an alignment issue or mechanical failure. We asked the dealer to check on that and they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. We only put around **** miles on these tires and I'm appalled at the company's lack of commitment to the customer. Not only have we not been able to drive the car because of their horrible customer service (the car failed inspection and we only had a month to fix the issue), we are now out another $550! This is an unacceptable business practice.

I was unable to find any record of a case created for you in our system. Have you called into Consumer Affairs previously to report your claim? If so, do you have a case number?

I'd be happy to look into this further for you. In order to do so, please provide the location information for the Infiniti dealership you were working with and any relevant documentation you can provide such as your original invoice, inspection results, etc.

      Thank you,
