Treering should be called TRASHring. I ordered my son's yearbook and paid for EXPEDITED shipping (an extra $25)...only to find out that they have not even SHIPPED the book and it is still in production. There should have been something on the ordering section that said that they had to PRODUCE the book. Had I known that there was NO WAY the yearbook was going to make it, I would NOT have ordered. Now my son will completely miss yearbook signing day and the book won't arrive until school has closed. I called CS and they claim that there's nothing they can do. They also informed me that "2-day" is actually **** days...THATS STANDARD **** SHIPPING TIME. There IS something that I can do...not order from them again and lodge a formal complaint. Money doesn't grow on trees. I just wasted approximately $80. ?Thanks TRASHring for ruining this yearbook day. The sad part is that your representative said that the 2-day confuses a lot of people. That is CLEAR indication that you need to make some changes.Business response

I wanted to reach out to you regarding the negative experience you had with Treering Support. First, I want to apologize for all the trouble with your order not arriving on time. I was able to see that your order ******* for ******************** was placed after the 05/12 yearbook ordering deadline that was set by the school and that you chose the 2-day *** shipping. Our expedited shipping displays the time it takes for the book to be printed and delivered. Yearbooks can take 4-5 business days just to make it through production before they are shipped out. Our normal turnaround time for 2-day shipping is 9 business days, but during the height of our busy season that did change to 12 business days. Again, I am very sorry for the misunderstanding regarding the shipping. Due to the trouble, I was able to refund the *** 2-day shipping charge back to your original payment method. You should see this within the next 5-7 business days. We will be looking into making changes to our shipping expectations so this doesnt happen again. Ordered a yearbook 12 months ago. Never delivered. Attempts ro contact company never answered. Ordered a new yearbook this year hoping they could ship both last year and this year together. They want to charge me for another yearbook from last year and not refund my money for book already paid last year.Business response

I received and email from Treering asking me if I would like to purchase my daughters yearbook. I responded to the email and paid for the purchase of a yearbook. Only to find out that our school was not doing business with them this year. On May 24th I requested a refund and was told that it would take seven to ten business days. We are now 22 days out I have yet to receive the refund and have only had one response to my email request and that was on June 8th and they said they would get back with me in 1-2 business days. Prior to that I had sent to email seeking a refund. I have attached the information below.Business response

4-1-22 order number ******* for *****. I ordered a year book from my daughter's school. It was Shipped through *** and was supposed to be delivered to united states postal service in *********** which would then would bring it to my local post office to be delivered somewhere between *** and the united States postal service the package was lost the tracking number shows it has been waiting to be accepted since 5/17/2022 and the delivery day will be today at 7 but the package never comes and the delivery date changes to the following day. I've contacted *** they said it was delivered to postal service postal service says they never received it.i filed a package search with the United States postal service the service request number is ******** . *** said they have no further information they can provide and theres no option to file a claim. I've reached out to Treering ************** through the request customer support on there website detailing the package is waiting to be accepted and says its going to be delivered everyday but never comes. No one ever contacted me. I called there customer service number and explained to them what's going on they told me that they told me they don't consider the package missing that it will be delivered today at 7. I explained to them that its said that everyday since 5/17/22 but it never comes and that if they click on the shipping details it shows its waiting to be accepted. I informed them that's neither the *** or the united States postal service know where it is I tried to give them the united States postal service request number they wouldn't take it and just told me they don't consider it missing it will be delivered today at 7:00 pm. Im very frustrated because part of the reason people order year books is so there friends can sign it so they will have memories of that school year. My daughters last day of school is tomorrow and because of shipping issues she will not have it. I want them to ship a new oneBusiness response

This was resolved in support ticket 860292. Customer reached out about the missing book and we were able to report he book as missing. A new order ******* was placed and sent to the customer on 06/01/2022.

In regards to the 2020 **************************** Elementary Yearbook, we started the process last year, however still do not have the yearbook. Numerous executive board officers on the ****** PTA, have reached out and created various tickets, however would not receive any response. Current ticket number is *******, $1000 invoice charge to be removed, told it would take 24 to 48 hours, however still pending. Company was unreachable the last two weeks in December 2020, with no indication on their telephone service regarding being out of the office during that time.Company severely deficient in communication, which is the basis of this complaint.Business response

First, I do want to apologize for the whole bad experience.
This was a complicated issue. In support ticket ******, the schools current Chief Editor *************************** reached out to Treering and requested assistance with subsidizing the price of the yearbook so the school could cover $4.99 per book that was purchased. This would allow the parents to order the book at a lower price.
In support ticket ******, ******************* reached out to Treering and informed us that the price change request from ***** was not approved by the PTA. We were able to correct the schools book price and adjust the invoice. The school was able to make payment for the balance that was due and they were able to go to print.This does seem to stem from an issue at the school between the original Chief Editor and the **** I do not feel Treering was at fault in this case. We did our best to help correct the issue and make sure the school received the books.

I am rejecting this response because:The poor communication and responsiveness from TreeRing led to the issue being unresolved for an unreasonable amount of time and after only numerous calls and hours expended. The fact that TreeRing is only now providing a response to a 2022 complaint, is further evidence of the companys poor customer service and inability to address issues. The failure of TreeRing to accept or acknowledge their short comings reveals much about the company. Instead of using this as a learning moment and working with a school to make amends for TreeRing shortcomings, they decide and prefer to shift blame.

I ordered a yearbook from TreeRing on 11/18/20. On 5/20/21 TreeRing notified me that the order had been canceled. No reason was given, but I presume either the School decided to not publish a yearbook after all or perhaps even never had planned on it, but that TreeRing had simply sent out a solicitation to all the purchasers from the prior year. A few weeks prior to the cancellation, my bank reissued my CC in a new number. I notified TreeRing of this right away, but after several follow-**** on 7/11/21 they finally notified me that I should contact my CC company and that there was nothing else they would do.Business response

This issue was resolved in support ticket 767595. I do apologize for the trouble. I was able to confirm that order ******* was refunded back to your account. I do understand that you were issued a new card, but the refund would still be refunded to the account that is attached to that card. If you did not receive the refund, please be sure to reach out to your bank/card company for assistance.

I have been buying yearbooks for my children for the past 5 years with no problem. The yearbooks come with 2 custom pages. This year the custom pages had over 7 pictures that were extremely blurry . I paid $17 for this paperback yearbook and called them to let them know how unhappy I was with my child's yearbook. I told them how I always place the pictures the same way and how they printed mine and not notice how blurry they were. They said it was my fault and wanted me to PAY more for another instead of returning this and sending me a new one with better pics. Just terrible customer service and support. They are a printing company and could not see how ugly these blurry images are and printed anyways? I have told many parents the same and none will order the custom pages. So sad that this is a yearbook for kids and they are not an integral company to own and fix and resend and expect me to pay more for this. Maybe I go to a printer myself and tape 2 better pages for my son?Business response
