Date of transaction is June 5 2025. Paid for course with mothers card but did not get email allowing for access to course. The issue is likely that the cardholders name is already in the system, but they are not assisting me with fixing the issue. I am willing to get a refund and repay under my own card. In April 2025 I received an email offer from YogaMu for an offer to an upcoming University that was set to be part of YogaMu called *********************. The offer was for a profile bootcamp, prior learning assessment, and a locked in tuition of $199 a month ($398 per 8 week session) for four years with access to unlimited 3 credit hour classes in each session which would be used to complete a bachelors, masters, or doctorate degree. The offer was for the May 1st start date. I purchased the bundle of April 13th, 2025. Despite many efforts to call and email Paracelsus (most of the emails and phone numbers did not work) and I contacted YogaMu via email and chat I didn't receive any response about the University until April 25th via email stating students would be getting a call the upcoming Monday (April 28th), no one ever called. I again reached out to both Paracelsus and YogaMu (Paracelsus is part of YogaMu, but have two different ways of contacting them). Again, no response to anything. Then at 8:03pm of April 30th (the day before classes were supposed to start) I received a generic email requesting a picture of my ID, CV, and transcripts and the email stated I would be called the next day and granted access. I sent everything in on April 30th. I was not granted access and as of today 7/7/25 I have not spoken to any advisor. I was given a free orientation class which was full of errors, all the while being told someone would contact me. I finally requested a refund, but was told I could only have course credit. At first I agreed to a practitioner class, but after completing a "chef" class with them which was just an expensive recorded recipe class I opted to go back to ********** since an email came out that a new state date would be July 1st. As of today 7/7/25 still no start, still nothing from the bundle offer, and a refusal for refund, and no response from Para U or Yoga Mu.Initial Complaint

I bought a kundalini course for 200 hrs from them and it says that it is covered under 30 ce for yoga alliance. I wrote them to see if I would get this in writing and they never wrote back. This is a course and I have so many questions and they need to be able to answer all of students questions so since they arent available to assist in students questions I asked for a refund and no reply either.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 200 hour yoga training from Yogamu on July 19th 2024. The same day I contacted the business looking for a refund. Per their policy, they allow a return of the product if you request a return in seven business days. Ticket numbers #***** and #***** are proof of my attempted contact. I have made several attempts to get this resolved. It has been three months now without a reply or resolve. The only replies to this dispute from Yogamu has been that theyd reply in 7-10 business days with ticket #***** and with #***** that I made in August 15th, they reported that they will take this matter urgently. All I want is a resolve and an honor of their policy of returning my money. Although in my recent follow up, I said I would contact BBB this upcoming Saturday, Im becoming really tired of dealing with this.Business Response

I signed up for a turnkey website 4/14/22. The finished product didnt match the vision for my business so I spent 2 years correcting it. The technology team was unable to meet my business needs. I have been trying to move my website since July 21st. I have also asked for a refund for a GYTA membership to support them as a founding member. Due to the fact the have not been able to help facilitate the move of my intellectual property I can not trust that they will be able to meet my needs in the future since they have promised me this would be resolved and it has not been. I signed up for this service and new immediately I could not complete I emailed and spoke to the owner **** on the phone which he called me at 3 am from ***** and he promised to cancel.I subsequently had a concussion and thought he cancelled on his word. During my concussion I was not using my computer and was surprised when I could to find he had **** cancelled and continued to charge me. I went to my credit card company and they were callig me from a static line and no communication could be had with them to rectify this they said it could only be 90 days prior I will be filing another claim with them for their attrotious scam customer service.I am trying to find more communications with pther yogamu staff to cancel that I have.They are still billing and I had to cancel my card and they finally cancelled my plan for non payment.Business Response

I ordered a shirt and short CE course on June 25, 2024. Today is July 31 - over a month later. The cost of the shirt was $29.95 plus $4.13 for shipping.
I commented on the student support Facebook page about the course not being added and it was resolved in a timely and professional manner.
The shirt, however, has still not yet been sent. I've submitted two support tickets and get the same automated response. I've left a comment on the student support Facebook page and got no response. I sent a message on the main Facebook page and was given another automated response. There's no contact information available for anyone I can reach out to. Nobody has reached out to me to explain why it's taking so long to ship out the shirt, when it will be shipped, or to offer a refund.Initial Complaint

Paid for and completed a certification program. I was promised the certificate for the 200HR Yoga training and have been attempting to reach them for 2 months and no one will respond. I only get "customer service will get back to you." They have not. They will not provide any sort of response other than that. I told my certificate will be delivered but they will not tell me when. I had a membership with Yogamu ($99 a month) and cancelled my membership on April 6th of 2023. In January of 2024, I received an email from Yogamu stating that my debit card on file was about to expire and to update my information. Because I no longer had a membership, nor had I been charged since April of 2023, I did not update my debit card information. I was then charged on February 1 2024 for a membership subscription. I emailed Yogamu support and they responded saying they would look into it. I was then charged on March 1 2024, to which a filed a new support ticket, to which the company said they would look into it again. I was charged AGAIN on April 1 2024, to which I filed ANOTHER support ticket and had numerous correspondence with support. They said that they could not find my subscription membership. I responded a couple more times in their support app asking where they were in the process of canceling my account but did not receive further response from Yogamu. Today, (May 1 2024) I was charged yet again for a subscription. I would like a refund for the 4 months they charged me when I did not have a subscription and to ensure that I am not charged in the future.Business Response

We have found that the subscription of this former client was cancelled from our end after she raised tickets.

I purchased a Yoga Therapy course for $199.50 on 12/5/2023 with the understanding that there was a refund policy (within 7 days of purchase). On 12/8, I had not received any correspondence or instructions on how to access the course. I reached out, and they finally provided a link. I finally got access on 12/9 after asking twice. When I logged in, there were so many courses that I suppose are prerequisites for Yoga Therapy. They said more courses would open up when I finished the prerequisites. There was no course outline. There was no details on which courses needed to be completed for yoga therapy. There was no ability to waive Anatomy and Physiology courses for those who have already completed it. On the evening of 12/9, I decided that I could not take part in a disorganized course, and I asked for a refund. I received no response. On 12/11, 12/12, and 12/13, I kept following up for a refund request based on their refund policy. I sent an MS ***** message to ******************* who just kept asking to call me. Finally he said the refund request was sent to the account team. When I asked for a refund confirmation receipt, I was again met with silence. It is so disappointing that a company who is supposed to be built on acting morally, ethically, and doing the right thing (including honoring their own refund policy) cannot abide by it. We make full effort to process a refund request within 7 business days but sometimes due to unavoidable circumstances such as holidays of our team members living in different countries, there may be a delay on our part. However if the client creates a chargeback request through the bank before we process a request then we are constrained to not process the refund from our end until chargeback is finally decided by the bank. In this case a chargeback was created which was ultimately decided in favour of the client and amount was credited to clients account.
