    Date of Transaction: 5.12.23 After doing an in-person estimate and catalog 5.8.23 I was quoted 5124.00 to move from San Miguel, CA to Sutter Creek CA (5 hours). I paid 1300 for packing in addition. They were to pack the truck on the same day that I went ahead, promised by the estimator and the lead truck packer that my horse panels would go first. Promised that the apartment would be cleared by the lead packer (and there might be a few horse things left below for me to load my truck when I came back to pack my horses) because I was having it cleaned over the weekend for a Monday move-in date for my landlords. Movers were to arrive 5.13.23 Saturday morning with the loaded truck to my new home. The truck broke down at the bottom of the hill (due to faulty equip or driver error). The company demanded that I hire a u-haul and 2 extra movers to shuttle the things and blamed the load and the grade of the hill. If I did not find these things within 30 minutes I would have to find storage for them to unload my things (even though the truck was broken down). They also charged me an additional 500 for a "change order." I found very experienced movers. Less than an hour later they told their movers to 1. Not tell me there was anything wrong with the truck. 2. They knew it was a "**** ***" and to stop working. Me and the movers had to move my things for 7 hours with little assistance. Their workers, stranded, stayed at my house until the next afternoon. The apartment was not clear, strewn with garbage and packing materials, unable to be cleaned. Landlords waiting outside when I arrived to get horses and could not move in. Had to borrow a horse trailer and pack the rest of the things with my landlords, except horse panels that were left, tool large. Broken glass and garbage outside. They avoided my calls for 48 hours about the remaining things, which I paid for to be moved and they told me, tough. Cost 5124 for a job not done, 1700 for haul/movers for faulty equip.
