I purchased a car in early October, and my registration for the vehicle has not been submitted to the **** I have called the dealership 3 times, and each time, they say they are working on it and will take care of it, yet nothing has happened. My temporary license plate has now expired, and I have not received my permanent plates. When I check the *** site for my registration status, it says the temporary plate number does not exist. I am worried about getting pulled over for an expired plate and getting a ticket, and when I called the dealership and voiced my concern, I was met with hostility from the sales manager and was told "I don't like speaking to unhappy customers". I purchased a grey 2017 **** S3. I bought the car on October 9, 2024. I just want my registration to be taken care of and to never have to interact with the dealership ever again.

Purchased 2016 corvette from dealership on February 26th, within less than 24 hours check engine light comes on for an emissions code, I notified the dealership and they were willing to fix the issue (or so I thought). A few week go by and my mechanic is finally able to fit me in for a diagnosis as well as to instal a axle back exhaust. Upon lifting the car he noticed a strange noise that you had to be ************ to the engine to noticed, he grew suspicious about the noise and continued to look at the car even further, the entire sub frame of the car has indications that its been pulled down before, the vehicle has an aftermarket lower pulley which is not only causing the vehicle to make dangerous mounts of boost but that part should have never had passed the visual portion of the smog inspection. Mechanic throws car on the dyno to see how it's running and immediately notices that the car has an altered/modified tune and that right there is red flag #2 on there should have been no way the car should have passed smog, after running the car a bit it turned out that the car is misfiring under wide open throttle and shudders when it happens. My mechanic has logged everything we found included all tune files showing the cars tuned was altered prior to sale. Brought all these issues to the dealership which time after time waited days and sometimes even week to get some sort of response. During the time I was waiting for a response the car popped yet another check engine light for the same emissions code they allegedly fixed the first time telling me either they did not fix the issues, their mechanics didn't do a proper diagnostic of the original issue, or the vehicle is a lemon. I mentioned this to dealership and refused to fix any of it until I mentioned legal and then offered to fix only the check engine light and to instal a OEM lower pulley but nothing on the engine work. I said 1 too many issues within short time and I would like to return car in which they denied.

    Good Evening **** !

My name is *********************************** I am a C.E.O of Platinum Motors. I understand that you have an issue with a vehicle. This vehicle was in perfect condition siting in our showroom floor. You were here few times looking at it driving it and also you had a corvette which was highly modified. We also took this vehicle for you to our service department and you have seen this vehicle from every single side and also from the bottom of it. You asked us to do a triple flush on it we did we also agree to fix dash because it was little up from the sun no problem we agree to fix it. Also you asked about the lower splitter we have it on order and its coming in. Then you want us to pay for triple flush I allowed sales department to split with you and give you our discount on and we have done that. ******** and all the cars in it sells as is no dealer warranty of any kind you have sign for it over 7 times and you were explain this by our sales manager ***************************** and we have this on recording. We also smog and safety all of our cars and we have documents to proof that. By the way you saying there is off the market parts on it smog shop would fail this unit and they luckily also have it on video how this vehicle passed smog. I think you having a major buyer's remorse and you realizing that you have a huge payment and trying to get out of it. Which is not fair the way you doing it. I understand you talking to a shop that has worked on this vehicle and possible that they made some kind of mistake and you trying to blame us. I told ** as a good jester from us at Platinum Motors we can see what you mechanic messed up on and try to help you fix it. You have also spoke to my master mechanic who is ASE Certified. ******* has explain you that this vehicle is in perfect condition and he is the one who showed you everything on this vehicle. I also have offer to help you but you decided to go other route and unfortunately all of our offers are off the table.

    Best Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: Vehicle has problems since day 1, check engine lights and misfiring are not buyers remorse, especially with all these issues magically coming up weeks after purchase. I understand vehicle being sold as is but it's illegal to sell a car with not only a modified tune but also a modified non carb legal engine parts. You say everything was recorded while at the smog shop thus I hope you have that video tape ready for the *** and myself as we would love to see that video tape showing the smog tech checking the ***** as well as a camera going down into the engine well showing the lower pulley other wise your statement of the smog shop recorded is invalid. Seems to me like the smog shop dropped the ball and didn't do a proper inspection. Rather that be true or not it does not fall on the buyer at all, vehicle was illegally sold with after market lower pulley and even when I brought it back to your shop your mechanic confirmed it to be aftermarket as well and offered to change it back, your manager offered to change it back as well so funny enough neither of you denied it being on the car when first sold and I have recordings of that thus its clear indication that someone dropped the ball and car was sold with parts that should have failed inspection. I have contacted the *** as I'm sure they would love to know about this. Also got in contact with another person who bought a raptor from your delaership that had nothing but issues from the beginning, and funny enough stated that he never ended up getting his plates or paperwork which I myself, a month later have yet to receive my registration or title to register the vehicle. When I called Ally they said that falls on the dealership so seems like something ****** is going on here.

    Sincerely,

I purchased a 2015 *** X5M on Aug. 7th, 2023. Dealership was late processing the paperwork and did not have my bank on file so I was to return with a check from the bank the next business day. Aug 8th comes, I go to ****** credit unions loan department to process the paperwork and they said the paperwork was wrongly filled out, noting Platinum Motors has to list me as the new registered owner and ****** ************ as the lien holder. The bank and I reached out to the dealership and could not get a reply. The 8th comes and goes. I reached back out to the dealership on the 9th and Platinum Motors were sending out a representative to the *** to correct the registration. The paperwork goes through and I arrive at the dealership to turn over the check and upon my way back home with the purchased vehicle while accelerating onto the highway the purchased vehicle pops a check engine light "drivetrain malfuntion; drive moderately and take the vehicle In for service" goes into limp mode, acceleration was sluggish and could barely get the vehicle up to speed with smoke coming out of the tail pipe. I immediately turn back to the dealership and asked what was going on only to be turned away of any service and was asked if I wanted to leave the vehicle for diagnostics and was told the charge would be *********************************************************** as the vehicle was being sold as is. I requested for a refund of the total purchase price which was again denied. I was left with no option but to take the vehicle home, broken. The company has made no attempt to correct the issue nor make any repairs. It's impossible to pass a smog with the vehicle in this condition and I'm out $46k dollars plus the added cost for any repairs going forward. This has turned into a legal matters case which takes away my time away from work, loss of wages and added cost of repair.

I am rejecting this response because:

Paperwork was pre filled, choices were pre designated and chosen by the loan officer prior and wasn't fully explained in detail as to what documents I was actually signing. I was pre approved from my bank already for more than what the cost of the car was, they still wanted to run my credit to "see if they could get better rates" at the point of final sale, me, my wife and kids been there for the past 4 hours.

    Afternoon ***** !

I just reviewed the whole video recording and my sales manager did explain everything to you from A to Z on this contract and also did offered you a service contract that covers suv but you did decide it. Not sure what reason we all ways recommend service contract to all of our customers. All the negotiations and all paperwork was sign and we have it on video. You may be having a buyer remorse and it does happens. We sell all cars as is no dealer warranty of any kind you sign that paperwork over 7 times you were offered a service contract that you declined. Unfortunately we do not offer free labor and in fact I dont know any dealerships that do. When you came in you said their is an issue and we said no problem let us check we do change for inspections and you decided to be unprofessional to our sales manager that was trying to assist at that time and you decided everything.

I am rejecting this response because:

I was told upon purchase of the vehicle the light displayed on the vehicles dash was due to low fuel and that car needed nothing. You guys never explained how the vehicle was in need of repairs. "Buyers remorse?" I was happy to conduct business with you and spend my hard earned money of $46k, no one walks into a dealership and pays for a broken vehicle at any value. I actually arrived to the dealership on the second day to return the vehicle only because it was broken! In fact I'd still like to keep the vehicle had it been working, now it sits in a shop being overlooked by master techs which I've already spent over $2,000 on the high pressure fuel pumps (both) and new spark plugs (all 8) and fuel injectors (all 8) and the vehicle still has a deeper routed problem and still throws a check engine light, is in limp mode with excessive white smoke from the tailpipe. There's no way you guys didn't know about the repairs needed on this vehicle. Your guys didn't offer help, I was asked what I would like to do, either take the vehicle or leave it with your dealership and pay $175 dollars for diagnostics and pay for any repairs going forward. Your mechanic, out the kindness of his heart and against his supervisors will scanned the vehicle for codes with an OBD2 scanner and said himself, "he doesn't know what it could possibly be." There was a plethora of codes that were registered that I have a picture of at your dealership with your mechanic and his scanner the day of. I just expected you guys to stand behind your dealership and integrity behind your brand.

    Sincerely,
