This company cheated us of $1000. Ms ***** took out credit card number as a deposit and did not tell us or provide the store policy. When we decided not to go with them due to inflated prices, and requested for a refund, she refused to refund us . Instead she used our card and charged it $500 one time and $350 another time. These transactions were not authorized by us. When we found out they stopped responding. We have had to cancel our card due to such fraudulent activity. Please be very careful and do not deal with this business.

I recently scheduled an appointment with empire to pick out a flooring. Our installation was set for October 6th 2021. The morning of the install I got a call at 10:45 stating the truck never showed up with the material to do the job. I took the day off from work and pretty much lost the whole day since they never showed up. On top of this the night before they checked in asking if we were all ready for the install the next morning and we stated yes we are. This gets better as we go. My salesman said to make sure you have a plumber remove the toilet and sink prior to the flooring installation so I said no problem will have that done. The next morning October 7th I get a call from the installation team saying they called out of work. This is two days in a row that nobody showed up to the job because of different excuses. My wife and I have a home warming party this weekend with our house torn apart and no remediation on this issue. We also tried calling several people from empire and the communication is horrendous as nobody returned our calls and nobody answered phone calls throughout the course of the day. I've never had such a bad experience especially when you're paying a ton of money to have the floors done $11,000 later. They told me they could give me a discount of $50 which that is a slap in the face. After this it was up to $200 yet another slap in the face. After this was done they upped it to $550 and again when you're spending this much money there is no reason that a company this large should be this cheap about it. I would like to have empire reimburse me as this discount is not only ridiculous for what I'm paying but my whole schedule has been compromised and I have no toilet in sink installed right now. Again this is very unprofessional business and I will never choose them again after this experience.
