Hello- I am requesting help from your organization to come to a resolution with Mezas Fence.4.17.23 I received a quote from **** Fence to remove my old fence and install a new fence for the sum of 3.536.00 (Quote is attached). After reviewing other quotes I received for the same scope of work I decided to go with Mezas Fence builders solely based on all the positive reviews. The other quotes were all in the range of 3,500-4,000. I reached out to Mezas Fence for a build date and we agreed on 7/7/23. On 7/7/23 the crew was on time and ready to work. They removed my old fence and installed a new one in approx: 5.5 hours. Unfortunately when we received the invoice it was nearly double of what the estimate was at ********. My wife and I were both shocked. After reviewing the estimate it clearly stated We propose hereby to furnish material and labor to complete in accordance with the above specification for the sum of $3,536. No where in the quote did it say a sum of $6,036 or had additional itemized work. We are very happy with the fence but are unwilling to pay nearly twice what the other estimates received as well as the quote given to us by Mezas Fence. We reached out to Mezas Fence 7.7.23 as soon as we were handed the invoice to discuss the discrepancy. The employee that answered said he has nothing to do with that and will have the estimator call us. 7.8.23 We did not get a call. We did receive an emailed invoice. 7.9.23 We replied to the emailed invoice ( attached) requesting a call. 7.10.23 I received a call stating that ***** the estimator would call me. I never received a call and still have not gotten a response. Thank you in advance for your help with this matter. ***********************Business response
