      I tried to update the firmware in the LifX app for my LifX color light strip, the firmware update was interrupted, which caused my lights to go into what is called "rescue mode". I reached out to customer support and was advised of a few trouble shooting steps to take but it was found that my lights will never work again. It is a known issue that when the firmware update is interrupted the lights will go into rescue mode and despite troubleshooting efforts, the lights will never be able to work again. The customer support rep advised me that my 2 year warranty has expired and they will not be replacing my product. Even though this is a known issue many customers have.

      Please be advised that i am a disabled veteran and live alone with my service dog..I purchased over $400 in Lifx lightings products. With your new app 3 out of 10 fixtures will not connect to wifi with same modem. I contacted Lifx C.S. over a dozen times and my calls and emails fall on def ears. I finally received a return email and treated rudely and like a idiot.I depend on your lighting products and they still remain inoperable. I depend on Lifx fixtures for my military service dog to operate. This is no way to treat a disabled veteran who depends on your products.

      On March 19th, 2022 I purchase $1500 worth of lights and devices from Lifx for a remodel of my home. Half of the shipment was a pre-order and the other half was sent within a week. On August 3rd, 2022 Lifx announced that they had been acquired. On August 14th, 2022 I was contacted via email by **** and told that my pre-order was cancelled.I immediately contacted them because I needed to return my brand new unopened equipment for a refund as it was useless without the preorder. After waiting weeks for customer support to respond, they finally told me that they would not process the refund and gave me a mailing address without an entity that I had to contact in order to return the devices. They would not give me a phone number or an email address.No one has reached back out after sending numerous letters to that address. Now Im stuck with $780+ of useless equipment with no way to get a refund.It doesnt matter if a company is acquired and under new management. They still have an obligation to do right by their customers. Ive purchased about 50 devices from them in the past and this is the way they treat a loyal customer.
