On 09/25/2023 I emailed the company about a moving quote. Someone called me back and quoted me $660 for the job. He did not say that there would be unexpected charges and that if we did not want the job he was still going to charge us for 3 hours of work. When the movers got to my mother's storage because this was for my elderly disabled mother they told her it would be over $1,000 she said no thank you that's not the price we were quoted. She tried calling the office multiple times over 10 times the manager would not answer he would not even answer his workers calls. First they said they were going to be there at 9:00 they didn't show up till 10:20 then the movers stayed there for an hour trying to contact him once they did he told my mother that she signed the contract which she never did and that regardless she was going to get charged $660. He then told her it was in the email he sent I read the email it says nothing about being charged for 3 hours even if you refuse the service it does state that if you do not cancel within 72 hours which we couldn't do because we only scheduled it the day before that they would keep $100 deposit. Which is another problem because not only did he not charge her $100 for deposit he charged her too $ 200. Then when my mother was upset because they kept trying to take more money out of her account for a job that was not done when she called upset he laughed at her and hung up in her face. And then they refuse to answer the phone we called over 30 times trying to reach someone and all they did was reply with an email telling me to read the email he sent stating that we would be charged all that money which the email does not State any of those things. Then he threatened to put my mom in collections because he could not take any more money out of her account because she had it blocked.
