At North East Medical Services - Eastmoor Clinic:I am with ************, with whom I had a nice experience. However, their billing system is very weird and strange, and arrogant.In 2019 ************ ordered an annual physical examination. I received a bill, $13.65, for the lab test (the lab was performed in their clinic). BTW, one charged item was:ROUTINE VENIPUNCTURE. Won't every blood draw need venipuncture?I messaged my health company; some words in their reply:COLLECTION OF VENOUS BLOOD BY VENIPUNCTURE ** EXCEPTION was billed with Diagnostic diagnosis code -Z1321 Encounter for screening for nutritional disorder The provider will need to bill a corrected claim with preventive diagnosis code for anthem to be able to reprocess that item as preventive.I called NEMS multiple times across several years with no results. They gave me many reasons that the bill was correct. One time one lady said they would not correct the bill and I could *** them.Recently I called again, and one person received my call; he suggested that I talk with his supervisor. I said thank you to tell me this option; in the past, they never mentioned the option to me; but I was too exhausted with those calls and arguments; I decided to move on to small claims court.A few days later the guy called me back, saying he talked with his supervisor and apologized that they made a mistake and they corrected the bill so there is zero charge for the annual physical examination in 2019.I expressed my appreciation to him.In total I spent multiple hours on this billing is*** with NEMS. I appreciated my patience, persistence.I appreciated the last person at NEMS billing department who received my call: he helped solve the is***.It did not go to the small claims court, which is a saving to the social resource.

I have experienced multiple times Asian racist bias and discrimination over the phone and in person before at the North East Medical Services building before they are very rude disrespectful argumentive immature childish behavior and manners at the same time from customer service employees employors, Doctors and Doctors assistance as well they always rush me when I talk always interrupt me and never let me finish talking every time, No Patence whatsoever hurry up and want to hand up the phone on me never let me finish my sentences if you don't want to help or talk to me just say so and let someone else do your job for you I complant to the company about my concerns before they don't seem to care at all and cause more problems for me and it's really annoying and irratating at the same time because they know what they're doing and doing it on purpose just to pick a fight and argument with me on purpose just because I was pointing out what they are doing and saying to me is wrong and never correct their attitude behavior and manners toward me at all is like I'm dealing with a bunch of immature childish rebelious horrible bad teenagers/kids who don't want to listen and pay attention to others ignore them and do whatever they want to do or feel like it without any care in the world except for themselves shame on you, you all should be fired and never work in healthcare ever again so unprofessional of you all to treat me terrible because you can and get away with it at the same time you asian b******* are nothing but an entittled spoiled brat got no class education in humanity this isn't high school elementry or middle school at all you are all adults working with real life human beings here grow the f*** up you all are not little kids anymore bunch of a****** and jackasses don't like your job quit it and do something else with your life nobody is forcing you to work here you are all doing it to yourself not me or anybody else in the world dumb stupid b****** get a life.
