I have been in contact with Apollo.io since December 30, 2024, regarding the cancellation of my subscription after unauthorized charges were made to my account due to a security breach.Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I have found their customer service to be unresponsive. The listed customer service phone number ****************) is inaccurate, and their telephone support has been discontinued. Additionally, their email support team has not provided any assistance or resolution.Given the lack of response and available support channels, I have no choice but to escalate this matter by filing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

I am writing to file a complaint against Apollo.io due to a severe breach of security and the companys unacceptable handling of the issue, which has caused significant financial and operational harm to my business. Below are the key facts and concerns:1. Inadequate Platform Security On December 24, 2024, my Apollo.io main account was compromised, resulting in unauthorized charges amounting to $1,724.33 on my credit card. Additionally, a sub-account under my organization was also hacked, and to this day, it remains inaccessible. This demonstrates a critical lack of adequate security measures on Apollo.ios platform to protect users sensitive data and funds.2. Extremely ********************* and Resolution Efficiency After reporting the incident, I received a standard response stating that their security team would address the issue within 72 hours. However, as of today, January 7, ****** days laterI have not received any substantive follow-up or resolution. Each time I contacted customer support, I was assigned a different representative who provided no actionable solutions, merely assuring me that the issue would be resolved ******* dedicated representative was assigned to handle this major security incident, which involved a significant financial loss. This lack of prioritization is deeply concerning.3. Severe Impact on Business Operations The inability to access my sub-account has severely disrupted my teams lead generation work. This downtime has directly impacted our business productivity and revenue potential, further compounding the financial losses from the fraudulent charges.Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this with Apollo.io, the company has failed to address these issues in a timely or professional manner. I request BBBs assistance in holding Apollo.io accountable for:Reimbursing the full amount of $1,724.33 for the unauthorized charges.Restoring access to my sub-account immediately.

Our account was wrongfully terminated without any notice and our data was deleted. As per the the California Consumer Privacy Act, we requested a detailed copy of that data that was collected and proof of its deletion. However, their support team didn't provide the requested information.

I recently started getting numerous calls to my personal phone from vendors trying to sell software services. I asked one person where he got my number and he said Apollo.io. I went to the Apollo.io website and attempted to remove my information from their database using their 'opt-out request' link, in accordance with their privacy policy. It asked me to provide my email to send a confirmation code. I never received the code, and now they have my email in addition to my phone number. There is no other way I could find to contact the company to remove my information. I would like to receive confirmation from Apollo.io they have removed my information from their database. Thank you,*** *****

Dear BBB Team,I am writing to formally file a complaint against the ****** team regarding serious issues I have encountered with their membership service.I purchased a one-month basic membership from ****** on July 19, 2023, which expired on August 19. I intended to upgrade to an annual membership but was unable to do so due to an outstanding order showing as unpaid. On August 21, I proceeded to pay for a new monthly membership. According to the terms, I should have had access until September 21; however, ****** terminated my membership benefits on September 19 and generated a new order for the period of September 19 to October 19.Following this, I reached out to ****** to inquire about this issue and requested to cancel the newly generated order. Unfortunately, they only responded with their terms and did not resolve my problem. They stated that I must pay for the overdue order from September 19 to October 19 in order to upgrade my account to an annual membership, but they did not reduce the fees. Despite today being September 25, I have not been able to enjoy the membership benefits from September 19 to September 24, yet I am being charged for those days, which is absurd and unfair. What is even more confusing is that, as a product developer, they are unable to fulfill consumer requests for order cancellations. When collecting membership fees, ****** does not require any password confirmation to deduct funds, which is extremely concerning. If not for my bank intervening, they would continue to automatically withdraw money from my account every month, which is very risky.Since Apollo has been unable to resolve my issue, I am compelled to file this complaint and hope that you can assist me in addressing this matter.Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response.Sincerely,******

I am the director of operations for ProVideo and Sound. I received an email from whom I thought was the owner of the company, instructing me to log in and pay. So I did. Then we found 3 charges on our account. Yes I set it up. But we do not know who sent us the email. The email I found on the account isn't ours. It shows ******************** I have called his company and the lady who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about. So I have requested the account be refunded / cancelled everything. The only way to contact them is thru a chat bot. The phone number I did find is for a different Apollo. They state they get calls like this all the time! They even have credit card companies calling them all the time, for this same reason!

My inbox has been bombarded with non-stop sales spam as a result of apollo.io unlawful sale of my data and information. Sale of personal business data and information is not explicitly made clear on their platform. I've also attempted to confirm that my information has been removed from their website with no response. There appears to be a scam opt out link provided below. So I still have no confirmation that my business data and information is not being unlawfully sold. ******************************************************************************************************************************************

Apollo Io is the same company as Woven for Change. The BBB helped me get it resolved and Woven refunded money. Now this company Apollo IO puts through fraudulent charges marked recurring. They will not help me, they respond with pending. I cancelled the card but my bank chgd me $70 NSF as well. These are exact same fraudulent charges and I'm 76 and just found out I have cancer. Please intervene because these people are nefarious.

Below and detailed is a very long email chain where I have requested an adjustment in the services I have purchased, primarily based on being oversold.Although I do not have a recorded conversation, I was specifically told I would need to purchase the amount of exports (FAR more than I needed) to be able to purchase the level of mobile phone numbers I wanted. I was told by the support representative (in the email conversation support documents attached) that the custom contract level I purchased DID have the flexibility to purchase what I wanted and therefore, I was purposefully OVERSOLD as you can see with the MOST EXPENSIVE export line item, my guess is so the sales rep ***** could receive a larger commission. ****** has been defending this contract like it was their ONLY one, letting me- a small business customer- financially suffer for 1 year while they are living off of their $100MM investor money.Further and for the 3rd time during this contract period, Apollo.** has locked me out of inventory I have already purchased because, according to them, I am behind in payment when I have paid for ALL of the inventory I have used plus more.Next is the signed agreement for the services I purchased. As you can see in item #**, page 4, Apollo reserves the right to change services and provide a refund, but they simply would NOT change services as I have requested. Then and more importantly, NOWHERE in this document mention billing terms and conditions. I can provide additional documentation stretching back for almost 1 year where I disputed the 10-day billing terms that were not disclosed and, in ALL previous questers, I was able to pay within a standard net 30.I NOW have now choice but to file bankruptcy to recover from the significant expenses I have accumulated this year, trying to keep up with this agreement while paying for other expenses in a declining market in my industry.More details provided in my attached cover letter...
