They hide the ability to send them emails without an account through them for a reason.Imagine sending someone a loan offer to "help consolidate debt" and that they are pre-qualified under a specific threshold, have the potential customer take time out of their day to see offers to end up on a screen saying "We dont have any offers that match your loan selections at this time."Then why was this offer sent to me? Thanks for wasting my time and being a fake helping hand. Another 1 star to add to the plethora other reviews.Review from JT C

******STAY AWAY FROM UNION BANK!!!!!****This is truly the worst bank ever. The people in the branch are very nice but the customer service over the phone is unacceptable. Their system is super slow nothing processes in a timely manor. If you have an issue and contact customer service you will not be helped. They will bounce you around and will not solve your problem after wasting hours of your time. Rocheen is the worst supervisor in customer service period.Union Bank Response

I would never again do business with Union Bank. They wasted much of my time and lied to me with a refinance asking for documentation they already had. They waited till interest rates went up so they could make more money. I consider them a fraudulent bankUnion Bank Response

My boyfriend and I just bought a 10acre property in ********. We worked with ************************* and *************************. If you need a killer mortgage team to make it happen, then these are your guys!! We couldn't have been happier with the service we received! This purchase literally would've not happened with anyone else, and believe me, we tried. No one worked as hard as they did to get us into our dream home:). Union Bank closed the branch in my immediate area. So I went to another bank. I had been trying to close my UB account for over 60 days, after two extremely frustrating calls, I give up. I called to close the account. The woman on the phone told me it would take a few days to close. In the "few days" it took to close, I received a Zelle payment from my business. Because the account was still not closed, Zelle deposited it to UB. I had to transfer the money out, pay a fee, and call again to find out the account was STILL NOT CLOSED. I asked the man how I could get the account shut down TODAY, and they had no options for me. So I will be in a never ending loop to get the account closed. Don't bank here.Review from K. J.

Horrific experience getting a fraudulent charge removed -- Took 3 months and ELEVEN phone calls and it still may not be resolved because they tell you it is and the next monthly statement shows not a thing was done -- no fraud help / just late fees for ** -- so frustrating to deal with and a complete shame that this company's lack of customer service RUINED 23 years of EXCELLENT credit due to their lack of proper service !! Opened a personal checking account with Union Bank at a local branch, because I received a letter which stated that customer can earn up to $300 in bonus if they open a new account with them (new customer only). Customers are required to do three deposits and maintain a minimum balance of $1500. Two months later, I went to a local branch and attempted to deposit some cash into my account. I didn't bring the bank card with me. Instead, I showed my ID. The teller told me that there was an error message on my account and was advised to call a phone number and refer to a case number. The teller tried multiple attempts but reached no one. After being at the counter for 20 minutes, I decided to leave and told the Staff that I will take care of the matter by contacting the Bank through the phone by myself. I called the general number and spoke to the Staff. They did the same thing by calling the number listed. However, they couldn't reach anyone as well. They were unable to discuss or disclose about the case listed on my account. I then asked to Staff for the **************** phone number, since I believe there could be an error in the system for either the case number or the phone number. Finally, one of the Managers at the Union Bank's **************** called back and advised that the phone number listed on the message was incorrect. It was off by a digit. They said they were unable to assist on this case, since they (****************) were not the one that initiated the investigation. I called the number and reached a voicemail. I left a voicemail and figured that they will call me back the next day, since it was kind of late in the evening. I called the general number the next day and asked to speak to someone within that Branch of Investigation, since I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I was told that that phone number is the only way to reach them. I told the Staff that is there anyone else I can talk to within the Department, since no one got back to me. By this time, I was really frustrated, because it took an in person visit to find out that I had a hold on my account (I was glad that I went to the bank in person), and it took more than 3 hours from the customer's effort to find out that phone number listed to call was incorrect. I then asked the Staff that is it possible to just close the account and get my money back, and then I was told "No, sorry." I believe that I did one thing correctly, and that is not to trust one single bank on your money, because once it was frozen for any reason, good luck. Your mortgage company or your car loan dealers will not care about that and will just charge you on interest if you are late on payment. I am still not sure why my account was frozen at this moment. I would assume if I am involved some sort of fraud, all my personal bank accounts will be frozen. At this point, I am pretty sure this is an internal issue with Union Bank. As a customer, I was not notified by ********************** either by Mail/Phone/Email regarding to the status of my account (for being frozen due to some sort of investigation). I am still able to login to my online banking account fine with a balance. *************************** provided zero help, other than writing down my complain and said "you will be contacted as soon as possible". I believe they think their customers will have time to pick up their return call at any given moment during business hours to discuss their issues with the Bank. There is only one person at that Division that I can talk to regarding to my case? Really? I wish I am really that special to the Bank, as only that one Staff can tell me what is going on with my bank account.Union Bank Response

I deposited my golden state stimulus check with both me and my wife's name on is on it the bank rejecte the deposit. I reached out to the branch in order to get my check back to deposit it in a different bank at 1st they said that a check would be mailed back to me within 5 days, after 5 days they said to wait another 10 days then another 10 days after a total of 25 days waiting they told me to wait another 10 days and that they had no way of giving me my money back and to contact the state for another check. The state has no way of reissuing a stimulus check now I'm out $600 because they don't know how to return a check I am at my wits end and am lnow going to change my account and all of my direct deposits over to *********** The staff was clueless or unwilling to help. The ************************* stated they had no knowledge on how to help me. I hope the form a way of handling their customers problems in a much more professional manner.Union Bank Response

Went to deposit a $12k check that says my spouses name & my name, then the branch manager states that they require both parties to be present in order to deposit it.Then proceeds to talk about 9/11 and how they aren't even supposed to be accepting checks since 2001. Afterward, they talk down to the customer as if we're not smart enough to know how to cash checks using the mobile deposit feature stating how if it said both of our names, the mobile app should not have been accepting the deposit. Who TF.... does the branch manager think they are?This isn't the first complaint we've had with this branch, but they are losing two life-long customers due to the way they have treated us.*****************************************"Union Bank Response
