Transaction date: November 3,2023 Dealership; Mercedes Benze of San Diego Address; *************************************** Contact: ****, ************* Sale Of New vehicle $44,450 Now dealership is stating a month later the price I was told and paid was on error on their part and I now need to come up with $3000

      ****************,

I can see how confusing this is.  This is not a traditional way of funding a contract and is an unorthodox funding practice specific to Navy Fed. Our contract that you signed shows a balance for the vehicle after tax, title and fees of $47,454.69 which you agreed to and signed for.  The way Navy Fed funds deals with a Navy Fed trade payoff is as though the trade has a zero loan balance.  However, our contracts must show a balance.  To simplify, the car you bought costs $47,454.69 per the agreed upon contract less $32,000 trade value leaving a balance due of $15,454.69.  You wrote the final Navy Fed draft in the amount of $12,450.70 leaving a contract deficiency of $3003.99.  This is not a small enough amount for our company to forgive.  This money is due immediately.  Please contact us to resolve.

On September 30th, 2023, I acquired a 2020 Mercedes GLS450 from Mercedes San Diego.Initially, I planned to complete the purchase through a wire transfer, paying the full amount. However, the sales team dissuaded me, citing the location of my **************** making it unlikely for the dealership to receive the funds on the same day, which was also the last day of the month, Saturday, September 30th.Despite my suggestion to pay a reservation fee as an alternative, they insisted on immediate payment and delivered the car that day. They persuasively encouraged me to use the dealer's loan plan, deceptively claiming that the total amount paid using the loan plan (the down payment plus an immediate one-time full payoff) equaled the sale price. Given their efforts in arranging test drives, managing DMV paperwork, and offering small gifts, I consented to the loan plan to help the sales team boost their end-of-month performance. Consequently, I felt compelled to utilize the loan they facilitated for this purchase. Unfortunately, upon signing the loan agreement, I did not scrutinize its terms as I should have, instead relying on the sales team's assurance that the down payment and immediate pay-off amount accurately matched their stated sale price. Regrettably, this trust was exploited, taking advantage of my non-native speaker status, my status as a first-time car buyer, and my fatigue from a lengthy six-hour wait for loan paperwork. This made me vulnerable to manipulation during the transaction. To my disappointment, I was not informed of the additional fees ($335 VSI insurance premium + $895 ********************** + $1995 Loan Origination Fee + $23.87 daily finance charge) associated with the dealer's loan. Therefore, I request a bill adjustment from the dealer to waive or refund the loan origination and VSI insurance premium fees.**The Buying Process is partially voice-recorded.

I purchased a vehicle over three weeks ago (cash deal) and have not received the title yet. I cannot drive the car because I cannot register it and get plates. In ******** you are supposed to register your vehicle writhing 3 days of purchase. I was skeptical when they wouldnt give us the title at time of purchase. They said they were sending the title ****** but all I received is a worthless piece of paper. No title. The entire deal was beyond frustrating. The dealership is non responsive all the way up to the general manager and nobody is ever in when I call. I need the title to the car I paid for!

      Aysin,

Sorry to hear of your experience.  Unfortunately, Mercedes-Benz of San Diego does not control Penske Collision Center. Its a completely separate business ran by a different General Manager.  However, I will pass this message along to him.  Im sure you can expect a response later today.

I sold my car to Mercedes Benz San Diego. They said they would pay me when they paid off the loan and changed the title to their name but never paid me. 10/02/18, I accepted dealers recommendation to replace the automatic transmission of my 2008 Dodge Sprinter with a mileage of *******. After the replacement transmission was installed and road tested by dealer, I took possession and placed the vehicle back into service. Within the first week of driving, the vehicle began randomly loosing power while driving at various speeds, often dropping from highway speeds to low speeds of 35 to 25 mph. I returned the vehicle to the dealer and they found something else to claim was the problem. I would pay the **** and within the week the problem re-surfaced, i took it back and they found another problem they claimed was responsible. After mutiple attempts to find and correct the problem they stated it may need another transmission. My reply was do what it takes. They then found another problem but still the initial issue was never corrected , they chose not to replace the transmission and eventually claimed it was out of the 2 yr warranty.

In June 2020 I had Mercedes Benz of San Diego to a recall replacement on the airbags in my 2011 c300. On Sunday 5/2 my SRS airbag light went off stating right front airbag malfunction. I called to get the issue resolved and I was told that I would have to pay a $200 diagnostic fee. The service adivisor ********************* told me the warranty on the part and labor are not available to me because I didnt pay for the repair. Mercedes Benz paid the shop for the repair and the part put in was defective. I would like the airbag replaced as a warranty replacement ASAP as it is a safety part.
