      My wife and I went car shopping here, and we were very pleased up until we went into the finance office. We were very straight forward with the finance team, and let them know that my wife just received a phone call that her grandfather was dieing, and that we would have to leave and comeback with our insurance check from the car that was recently totalled. ****** (Finance manager) was rather persistent and told us that the hard work was done, and we would only be another 2-3 minutes, so we waited. About 25 minutes goes by, my wife is practically in tears becasue we literally had to leave to go visit her grandfather before the worst happened, and that's when the deal started to change. Mind you, we were waiting on a check for 40k from the insurance company, so all my wife and I were supposed to do was look at cars today, but the dealer made it seem like if we drove it off the lot today, we could simply pay for the vehicle in full once we received our check and we wouldn't have to worry about paying the interest. I even told **************** ****** that we couldn't call our insurance and switch it over becasue it was too late in the day.... So ****** said to us, and I will quote her "Oh no, you don't have to worry about that, ***** is coming in with your plates right now, and you will be on the dealers insurance for 10 days" me: "Wait so we don't have to call our insurance company? what if we get into an accident?" Cherry: "Nope. we got you covered, once this temp plate goes on your vehicle the dealerships insurance covers everything". However, what the dealership didn't expect was for my wife to run something over in the middle of the highway, on our way home from the dealership causing almost 10k worth of damage. Mywife contacted the dealer, we told them we wanted to submit a claim to their insurance company and guess what........ They lied to get us into the car, there was no insurance so they sold us a car illegally.

      We regret the unfortunate incident that the customer had running something over on the highway on the way home from the dealership, but are glad they were both safe.Regarding insurance coverage for the damage caused in this incident, our polices and documentation clearly state that the owner/purchaser of the vehicle is responsible for furnishing insurance. We are happy to provide a copy of the signed document indicating such. We are also here to help you with any documentation that *** be require to process a claim with your insurance provider. Based on your feedback, there *** have been a misunderstanding between the legally required automobile insurance policies that cover the vehicle and other liabilities in the event of accident or theft, versus the optional insurance related products we offered during the finance process.

      I have had THREE lemons in a row, now I cant even get a call back from Land Rover Consumer Affairs, It was deemed a lemon in July of 2021 and here were are March 2022 and still nothing, thy tried to get me to sign paperwork for amounts that were ****, when i said im not signing they told me I had to weeks to sign or deal is off, i said i am no signing cause your numbers are wrong, they finally went to Land Rover in San Diego and got all the paperwork and told me he thought i had a trade in and were s******* me on the amount, NO it was NOT a trade in it was a chamge of collateral and they put their numbers like that so they dont lose money, here were are still waiting 11 months later for a refund for our car, it is in the shop as we speak, i have called 5 times this week and left emails and nothing, STAY AWAY FROM LAND ROVER, the cars are trash unless u like to deal with lots of issues and the car is more in the shop than your own drive way. Three in a row people... THREE!!!@
