DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! The sales people are cons, and the management backs them up at all costs. I told them I had three other quotes- one of which was an all in cost - with no extra costs added- no matter what. And I should have gone with them. I can't even say hindsight is 20/20- because when I started to be traumatized by them again, I should have remembered. Once the salesman heard the other quotes- he assured me they could do it for cheaper, and than it would only take 6hrs. and the materials would not be any more than around $600. Of course this was all verbal- and they gave me an estimate (they don't give quotes- ad distinction. you should be aware of) The 3- movers- moving my 980sq ft 2 bdr 2ba apartment were 45 minutes late, and then took 8 hours to pack (just the kitchen, living room, and 1-bedroom closet) So, now I'm driving from LA to ************ at almost 9pm. We were to meet at my new apartment at 1:30pm to move in-they didn't arrive until 5pm...at which time they said they couldn't move me in because their work time was over. So, now I am moving in on Sunday rather than Saturday- with my unpacking helpers scheduled for Sunday. These upfront cash payments completely felt like a hostage situation- I had to pay the overage of time (it was supposed only take 4hrs) in cash before they would even move the truck. Then once it was all over, I was paying an additional $3300 for a move that was supposed to cost $4100. They charged me over $1900 for materials alone. As if that wasn't enough they treated the situation like its normal for people to just have $3500 laying around to pay the ****** for their furniture. They wouldn't start unpacking until they got all of their money. On top of all of that- they destroyed over $800 worth of furniture which they only gave me .60 per pound (no matter how much my furniture was worth). In the end- I settle for about $600- not worth the time at all. Horrible-really horrible.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COST:*****************, a pretty good con man I must say with his excessive "friendliness" over the phone, bait clients who are asking for a moving quote with a fair offer telling them that a certain number of trucks and crew will be able to complete the task requested based on the type of moves, its volume, distance. Then, a few days before the move, clients start getting phone calls to be reminded of Mover Central UPFRONT CASH PAYMENT for a better fare than their CC cost which is a red flag I should have noticed. Then again another call the day after this time to be reminded that the client signed for an hourly rate job and not the full completion of the initially requested *** promised me the best team of trained professional there is: 2 overweight diabetic guys who look like they about pass out from exhaustion and 2 skinny kids showed up!Once I explain to ****, the "manager", the task of the day, first he says: "It can't be done, we need way more time"? I assume most people **** it then, not **** explained ********** was promised by *** the job will be done in time and that I am not paying a $ more so they better start working; he went to hide in the cabin of his truck for 20 minutes most likely calling the boss to tell him their usual scamming plan was not working with me.**** and his crew retaliated by severely damaging over a dozen pieces moving my furniture WITHOUT A CARE IN THE ***** causing me thousands of dollars losses in broken inventory. When confronted with the disastrous job provided, **** got all emotional (?) and decided to stop working and took off with the blessing of ***** his manager leaving me with 80% of the job unfinished and no other resources to empty a 4000 SQFT by the end of the day!!!!I am now $1840 out for a job not done and thousands of losses from damaged inventory.I have 3 witnesses who were present during the whole time your crew was there and will be glad to confirm the terrible situation your company put me through.

This company is disrespectful in that they trespassed on our condo property, posted sticky ads all over the place, without authorization. When I called to complain, they hung up the phone. I've also seen these stickers on nearby properties. I've seen other similar complaints.Somehow this needs to be stopped. This is vandalism.

Dispatch will call you and bully you. They will waste your time. They damaged nearly every piece of our furniture. They argued with me on how to take my bedframe apart and didnt do it until they got to the new apartment. They took the bedframe apart in the lobby and brought it up to our apartment damaged. They didnt even put the bedframe together correctly left screws out. The movers on this job threatened us, walked off the job and took a break. They also took multiple phone calls while moving our property. One guy told their dispatch supervisor they didnt get a lunch or a break. And to lie and be unethical about getting a break or wasting a customers time and billing them for it is unethical. Downright fraudulent. Do not hire this company. One of the movers complained that he didnt like his job and he was only getting $21 an hr - he also mentioned that he had another job at noon, so they needed to rush and move us, im sorry that right there is a red flag. You dont rush with the customer to get to another job thats poor customer service we paid for you guys to move us in a professional and safe manner. They didnt even bring appropriate wardrobe boxes. The boxes they brought were damaged ripped up and unable to be used. We were forced to use garbage wardrobe boxes. Then we had our own supplies for the *** They didnt even properly use the ** cover. They taped it on the front and wrap the ** cover and charged us for a box we didnt receive. If you give this company a five star review, I hope your stuff was in prestige condition. I dont even believe one star justifies the service we received. They argued with us, got in our face and stated that they were going to take a break and take our stuff to a gas station. That is the most shady unethical thing Ive heard from a moving company in a long time. They breached their contract and they think its over because they paid us $.60 Per pound for the damage items. They use Amazon to look up similar items.SCAM!!

I used them because they bought out the company I previously used earlier this year.WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY MOVING LIFE!!!! And I have moved 12 times and this was an additional 3 for my mother. We had a small under 500 sq ft of furniture. Some boxes, 2 side chairs, a bureau, a hutch (2 pieces), a double bed, a couple of lamps and some pictures. Their equipment was sub par to say the least. In their lying promo "not binding" contract they describe their dollies as "ROBUST". They had two tiny flimsy maybe 3x4' dollies that they didn't even seem to know how to use. Like it was there first time. One guy definetly never moved before.BUT let's get to the meat of the problem. I spent 15 minutes the night before on the phone with a dispatcher confirming my TOTAL cost remaining. Over and over I kept saying so the total cost I now owe is $206. YES. They never mentioned the travel time. I never got the quote for travel time. The charge went from $456 to $859. When I looked over the non-contract contract it said 1.2 hours travel time. OK, so my bad I didn't ask. Didn't think I had to, thought it would be listed on the non-contract contract but it wasn't.I just now called the number ON THE *** SITE, call anytime. Some guy anwers "hello", I ask if it's Move Central, he hangs up. I called the number of my original contact listed on the non-contract contract, it said this number is not accepting calls at this time.JUST great!!! They are crooks with amateur help. Their fees are over that of anything I've ever paid for twice the amount to move. This can not be a random incident. They truly should not be in business. The only times I heard from them were the emails, texts and calls confirming the non-contract contract and time they would arrive. 8 to 10 a.m...they showed at 10:30.*******, disgusting, annoying and shameful that they even have a company.

To put it bluntly, our experience with Move Central has been a complete nightmare. We entrusted them with our belongings, and the result has been nothing short of devastating. The most heartbreaking aspect of this ordeal is that they lost my beloved dog's ashes, a priceless and irreplaceable memento that holds immense sentimental value to my family. I am horrified by their carelessness and cruelty in mishandling such a sensitive item.In addition to this heartbreaking loss, over half of our belongings were in deplorable condition, rendering many items entirely unusable. This includes but is not limited to three beds, a dining room table, leather chairs that were torn, three luxury memory foam mattresses that are now unusable, damaged one-of-a-kind artwork, lamps, dining chairs missing pieces, glass tables, couch, and numerous fragile boxes containing dishes and fragile items. The condition in which our belongings were when we went to pick them up from their storage facility is unacceptable, and it has caused us immense emotional distress, especially considering the sentimental value of some of these items.Furthermore, our belongings were not packed properly, and many of the boxes were damaged. We were also shocked to discover a cockroach infestation in our items, including our beds and boxes, which is entirely unacceptable and has added to our distress. This situation has not only caused us financial stress but also profound emotional distress, particularly for my daughters, who are deeply affected by the loss of their belongings and the traumatic experience.Taking advantage of us during our time of hardship is morally and ethically wrong. I implore the Better Business Bureau to intervene and hold Move Central accountable for their actions. We eagerly await your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you

Move Central is the absolute WORST moving company I have ever woeked with! I have hired movers many times over the years. Never have I experienced such rude and damaging movers. I had a ** mounted on a stand with other equipment. Movers in the past had transported the ** stand with out dissassembling it. On Saturday September 30, 2023 Move Central ********* moved me from one place in ********* ** to another home in town. The movers dissassembed the tv stand without consulting me and promised to put it back together again. They put it together wrong and left the ** power cord dangling. Thw plug on the ** was blocked by the incorrect way they reattached the ** to the stand. The Move Central movers said nothing to me and tucked the loose ** power cord into the stand unattached. When I called Move Central they contradicted the movers on ste aand stated that while they will dissassemble things they don't put them back together!!

I tried to get it resolved with ***** but during that time they were bought by move central. They are not handling the damage claim and say it is not their problem and that i have to contact Osmond moving. Thing about that is i will remind you, is that ***** doesn't exist anymore. so there is no one but them to handle the claim. This company is a scam waiting to happen. .

Don't use this company!!I had a terrible experience with Move Central in *********. One of the moves was very professional. The other one was not.I personally sent an email to the owner, and he didn't have the courtesy of returning my email. Before the move even started, the unprofessional one thought it would be a good idea to take off the legs of our beautiful Dining Table thinking it would be easier to move. He took them off, and then proceeded to put all the screws back in the table. He put 12 separate screws back in the table, each one piercing a big whole through the top of our table. He not only ruined our table once, but 12 separate times without noticing what he was doing. The other professional mover told me he was shocked that the other guy did such an amateur thing. Negligent. Right before the movers were about to leave, I noticed that out Television had been cracked and pierced in several spots. The unprofessional mover said he put it in-between bed mattresses for the trip. The mover went to the front of the truck to call in and report what he had done to his company. When I saw him coming back, he was smoking out of a water pipe. It was extremely frustrating trying to get a hold of their customer service to make things right. Just as another customer mentioned, they ghost you and don't return phone calls hoping it will just go away. They offered us a fraction of what our possessions were worth. They told us they were doing us a favor by offering us 200 dollars. 60 cents per estimated pound of items. We have receipts for both items and pictures of the damage caused by their negligence. Out items need to be compensated for what we paid for them, over ***** dollars. This company does not care about their customers. I'm in the process of filling out my sc-100 forms and will have them served to Central ********** to see us in Small Claims Court.

It deeply saddened me to encounter such a negative representation of humanity. I had made a reservation with them for a 3-bedroom, 2-bath move, hiring 3 movers, scheduled for July 1st. The initial quote was for 4 hours at a rate of $230 per hour. I paid a deposit of $250 before the scheduled move. The day before the move, the company called me to say they needed to reschedule the move to July 3rd. I explained that this new date wouldn't work for me. This conversation raised some concerns. The movers arrived at 8:32 am per the text. However, didn't start working until 9:10 am. I walked to the truck and seen them smoking and playing music on my dime, which I later confirmed through the security cameras in my complex. Shockingly, I found one of the movers relaxing on his phone in my gaming chair. Following the call to the supervisor, one of the movers quit. To get things moving and complete the move, my husband, son and I joined in to assist. My husband and I managed to move everything to the front room by 1:30 pm and began dismantling our belongings. By 2:30 pm, we only had the refrigerator and stackable ************** left to move. They took 2 more hours to move 2 items. They arrived at the new location, a hour & a half later & which they charged me for it. We paid the balance of $990, they handed me another invoice demanding an additional $1,788 for 3 hours of work. They threatened to drive off with my belongings if I didn't pay on the spot. Feeling cornered and desperate to protect my possessions, I ran up to the truck and sat on my things. Immediately the dispatch told the driver to leave, after I paid the exorbitant total of $3,028. While they did unload our belongings from the truck, they left them in the parking lot, including the refrigerator. They damaged our furniture, including our dining room table & 3 dressers. Even my relatively new couch had to be cleaned due to their negligence. I discovered an additional charge of $200 from them after the fact.
